"Was that the right lead?" Alessandro asked, staring around the room as if at any second Robert was going to pop out and tease him.
Stefano's arms folded across his chest. His jaw was clamped shut. "The information wasn't bad. We can't control where he hides."
"What now?" I exclaimed, sudden hot frustration boiling over. "Waste another hour? He plays games with us on a timeline!"
"Dominic, calm down," Stefano said smoothly. "We will regroup. We still have time."
"Time?" I snorted. "We have lost a day already. I cannot just stand here, knowing what Luca and Leila are-"
"Dominic!" The firmness in Stefano's tone cut through my panic and my gaze locked with his. "We will find them. But we need clear heads."
