"Shhhh." He silenced me, placing a finger on my lips. He smelled like rich, masculine cologne and alcohol. 
I looked up at him; he was staring at me with something swirling in his eyes. Something I couldn't explain.
He slowly leaned down and pressed a kiss on my shoulder. My breath hitched in my throat.
I held my towel tight against me with my left hand and pushed him back with my right hand, taking a step back myself.
"I'm sorry, sir, this isn't right," I told him respectfully.
His eyes darkened as he grabbed my forearm tightly, making me look at his furious eyes.
"I am Alessandro Rossi, and no one tells me what is right and what is not."
He attacked my neck, peppering it with kisses as I just stood there.
"But you're drunk, sir," I told him.
"I'm in complete control of my senses, Victoria."

　　I watched as her brows drew closer to each other in worry and pity.


　　"I'll be fine. How is Simon? Any word from him? Has he found a new job?"


　　"Yes. He just got accepted into a company. He's doing fine, Victoria. You're the one we're worried about dear. Are you sure he's treating you well?" She asked once again for the sake of clarity.


　　I knew she didn't believe a word that came out of my mouth. She knew more than anybody else that Alessandro Rossi could never treat anyone fairly not to talk of treating me well.


　　"My baby will live. He'll never hurt me because I'm carrying his child. He loves his children more than anything. I've seen it with matteo."


　　That was true. Alessandro might be a monster and a sadistic beast but when it gets to his children, he doesn't play with them. He loves his children so much.
