Chapter 57 I've Had Enough

  Alessandro

My mother was staring a very tired and drained Victoria down as she stood rigid in the presence of us all.

Valentino looked at her from head to toe as I'm sure that he was thoroughly assessing her. She didn't look like what he expected or imagined.

"Good afternoon, ma. I'm Victoria." She said politely.

If there was something I knew about my mother it was that she wouldn't stop until she wanted to stop.

"You're the one who is trying to pin my son down with that pregnancy?" She yelled at Victoria, wagging a finger at her.

"Mother, you're scaring the girl. She's pregnant for Christ's sake." Valentino said.

"Well, if she knows she doesn't need to be scared, then why not answer the damn question." Niccolo's bitch whined.

I hate that stupid girl with everything in me. If not that Niccolo was my brother, I would have made sure that she spends her nights and days out in the street and not in my house.
