CHAPTER Twenty one

  Alex’s POV

I was confused, dazed and unsure what was happening. My head hurt; it was pounding so much that I wondered why my Wolf had not healed me.

“Where am I?” I called out and then realised I was chained up to the wall with heavy metal chains that rattled loudly when I moved.

I roared with anger and frustration. No wonder my Wolf had not healed me.

These chains were keeping me from being able to communicate with my Wolf.

“Is anyone there” I called out again, but the only thing that returned to me was my echo.

I could not remember how I had gotten here or how.

My mind was a blank canvas.

All I could do was remain seated on the floor of this dirty room and pull the small blanket over my body, which barely covered me.

I must have fallen asleep at some point due to suddenly being woken by the door being flung open.

Someone then yanked me, and I had never felt so weak.

It was as if the life within me was being pulled out slowly.
