CHAPTER Twenty two

  Victoria’s POV

They were getting closer and suddenly Stacey fell to her feet landing on something sharp that pierced through her dress and skin causing her to let out a horrible blood curdling cry.

It sent shivers of dread all down my spine.

“Go. Victoria just go. Please.” She begged me crying her eyes out as she tried to stop the bleeding.

I can’t leave you.” I shrieked trying to help her but she was bleeding through her dress so much now and was getting weaker by the seconds.

“Go. That’s an order.” She growled lowly.

I shook my head and wiped my tears as they fell down my cheeks.

  “I am dying.” She whispered.

“Run, Victoria, save yourself.” She yelled after me as I ran off into the dark forest. I did not even look back.

The ferocious howl echoed all around signalling that they were getting even closer.

It must have been almost an hour before I finally reached a long road. Nobody in sight, it was as if it were all deserted.
