CHAPTER 29. The pain

Blood coated my skin and blurred my vision but I remained unscathed. Sweat paired with the red liquid dripped from my features and I smiled.

William and Conner had taken a step back, watching as I fought every wolf they send my way.

They screamed and yelled, begged even for me to spare them because they were only following orders.

Another skull cracked under my feet and my eyes snapped back to Gregory, waiting for what he would do next.

The blue hue covered me, protected me and hurting those who dared to touch me.

More circled me, also waiting for Gregory’s words. His jaw was clenched shut, the anger in his eyes, the impatience it all fueled me.

“You don’t deserve to be Alpha! You got your chance, Isaac. It’s over.”

Tilting my head to the side, I laughed. “So, you send you son to take over.”

A glint of surprise, on he hid quickly but it didn’t go unnoticed. “My son is dead, you know that.”
