Chapter 46

"This is madness, Father! The Apex family has always been our number one enemy, and now you're sending Ayor into their den? You know Edward is the target of our current operation!" my brother shouted.

I closed my eyes and left the room. I didn't want to hear their arguments. My father wouldn't change his mind, and no one cared about what would happen to me. I was just a tool for their ambitions.

"Ayor, I've come for you. I'm back," he said.

I couldn't believe my eyes. It was my first crush—my first love. It felt like a dream. Before I could process what was happening, a blue sports car pulled up.
