From Alexander's Perspective:
Damn it. I slammed my fist against the wall beside me. We were too late—Lucifer had taken Ayor somewhere else. My uncle was in just as bad a state as I was. I hadn't seen him this furious since my father was killed. And to top off all this chaos, Teal had left the house. Why would she go meet Peter in person? Wasn't it enough for me to tell her I'd handle her father's situation?
She wasn't answering my calls either. My uncle signaled for us to move—maybe he had received intel on Ayor's location.
"The police know where Ayor was taken. I have sources there. We need to get to her before they arrive, or things will get complicated," he said.
Damn it. Since when did the police start interfering in mafia affairs? It had to be that damn detective, Maliko. He was like a poisonous weed in a garden—useless, unbribable, and impossible to manipulate.
