{A/N: I not the happiest with this chapter, I ended up making a lot of this chapter about the system and didn't make much progress with the story. I opted to have a time skip so I can get closer to the next story points and so I dont have to write close to three months worth of busy work, that would bore everyone. Anyway if you guys can think of any Good powers from video games please comment.}

Once again landing on the roof of my hotel for the second time that night I take a second to look around, one thing I hate about this version of New York is the thick clouds of fog obscuring the sky. It prevents me from viewing the beautiful universe above us. Shaking off the leftover blood I store it in my inventory and shift back into my human form.
Back in my room I continue working on blueprints for my inventions, I also begin making plans for the machines needed to make the advanced computers. Assigning a few of my thought trains to study the constructor blueprint and a few more to going over the basic quantum computing knowledge from my previous quest rewards, I open my notifications.

Going through the last notification I'm happy with the progress I made with my skills. These notifications also prove I can gain Xp by defeating people which will increase my level up speed. Finally, the best thing about this is finally completing my first quest and unlocking a new part of my system. Opening both my status and Quest menu I finally decide what to do with my free stat points.

Congratulations!
You have received:
System Upgrade {Game Powers}
Apprentice Alteration Magic (Skyrim)
Knowledge – Fusion Core (Fallout)
**********************************************************************************
System Upgrade {Game Powers}
This upgrade allows the host to receive skill, powers, and abilities from video game franchises. The user can receive these as rewards from quests.
[-Apprentice Alteration Magic
Grade (D) (Active)
This skill gives the user access to the magic system of the elder scrolls universe, more specifically the Alteration magic branch.]
[-Fusion Core (Green)
Universe: Fallout
Type: Knowledge
Grade (B-)
The fusion core is a revolutionary technology from the fallout universe. The fusion core is a small device capable of self-contained nuclear fusion able to power nearly any device or being used as a makeshift weapon.]
Finished reading through all the notifications and claiming the quest rewards I'm shocked. The system upgrade whilst relatively simple will help me rapidly build up my power. Adding powers from different universes will make me a resourceful and unpredictable fighter.
Moving on from the upgrade the alteration magic from Skyrim gives me a way to begin studying magic, that whilst not the same as this universes power system is still powerful. Though there aren't many effects from the magic that I can't already replicate with psionics.
Finally, one of the most useful rewards I've got to date from quests, the fusion core, will drastically advance all my creations. If I'm able to replicate the effects of the fusion core in another form I may even be able to exceed Tony Starks first Arc reactors.
As for my stats I chose to put 100 points into every stat with an extra 50 points in wisdom, 100 into luck, 150 into intelligence and 100 into agility.
Closing my menus I could feel an esoteric energy flow through all my cells as my stats rose, flexing my hand it moved far faster than before with more strength and dexterity than I was ever capable of achieving before the upgrade. As for my mind I could feel my base thought trains increase and my mind was faster and clearer than before, I could also think of new ideas that didn't come to mind before and apply my knowledge better.
Flopping down onto my bed with half my minds connected to my computer I reviewed the blueprints I made earlier. Adjusting and optimising all the plans in my head ,I created more basic versions for commercial applications.
Looking out the window at the city below I sighed, I had a lot of work to do.
*Time Skip – 2 Months 3 Weeks*
Standing within a cluttered warehouse filled with advanced machinery I looked out at the product of my work. In the past few months since I first landed on this planet I had knuckled down and got stuff done. Using the stolen money from my first encounter with the gangs of New York I was able to grease the gears of bureaucracy and, fast track the needed permits and patents to set up my first factory.
The most difficult part of starting a business in America is by far dealing with bureaucracy, over the months I had worked hard to form trade and supply routes to both bring me materials and sell my products. After a brief scuffle with Oscorp about a month into my startup that resulted in a lot of classified documents leaking onto the internet from their servers most companies had left me alone.
Most conflicts I had were pretty mild during this time, as without a large factory to automate production of my advanced computers I was limited to manually building each computer. This in turn limited by income and slowed my progress expanding my company.
Overall using my published games, I was able to slip in some adverts to increase profit and attract customers to my products.
But all that effort and shitty political acrobatics would all be worth it soon. Before me stood a warehouse full of modified constructors, after extensive work modifying the original blueprint for the constructor, I was able to make a breakthrough. The constructors in front of me were very different from the original blueprints and product shown in the game.
By optimising the machines' part interactions, I was able to lower the power cost and increase the machines speed, then by attaching a mechanical arm to both the input and output of each machine I was able to transfer parts in any directions. As my final modification I made the constructors drastically smaller.
The main problem I had with the factory at the moment was the pollution it put out and its dependence on other people to supply both power and materials, as I wasn't able to purchase or find any nuclear material.
Now before me after over a month of running myself dry of energy using my matter manipulation stood my factory, using advanced simulations and multiple calculations I was able to optimise my factory layout so it part runs efficiently into the next.
Reaching out my arm I rest my hand on the power switch, doing a quick check using the specialised transmitter in each constructor, I confirmed everything was functioning correctly and with a flip of a switch the factory powered up.
For my first products I had decided to go with computer parts, by selling improved graphics cards, CPU's, RAM units and anything else I was able to think of I allow other companies to improve their products whilst gaining money and influence. At the moment I had signed contracts with a few different computer construction companies, and with my current production I would have excess parts left to sell to the public.
Walking around my factory I followed the parts through each constructor, at the final constructor on one of the assembly lines I watched as the first completed part slid out on a conveyer belt. Smiling I picked up the new CPU and merged my hand into it, looking over the part everything seems to be in order without flaws.
Happily hopping through the factory, I head over to the shipping area, here I have some automatic robotic arms loading everything into box's and then into larger crates for shipping. Opening my system, I see 1 shop point added for each completed part.
Leaving the factory I hop in my car, during the months I was working on my factory the games I published had each got to at least 9 million downloads, the closest to reaching 10 million downloads at the moment was Subway Surfers with 9.8 million downloads. This in turn led to massive profits, one in ten people who play mobile games in this universe tend to spend money, throw in the odd big spender and I was raking in the cash.
At the moment I had made 56 million dollars profit from the games, once my hardware sales go through soon, I would rapidly rise in net worth.
As I drive towards my house I ponder the last few months, surprisingly the Lizard wasn't seen again since his last appearance at Oscorp. I reckon he was probably still cooped up in the sewers hiding from Spider-Man.
Driving along the road atop the edge of a cliff I think about my interactions with people since initially meeting Jean. After about a week Jean had contacted me wanting to meet up, so wanting to keep my friendship with Jean we organised a meetup.
After that first meetup Jean confronted me about being an alien and I told her straight to her face. From then on Jean pestered me about my powers and if my human form was my true form, I had actually agreed to meet Jean at my house later today to show her my true form.
Other than that, I had attacked a few more gangs for fun and run into Spider-Man a few times, I also ran into daredevil again when he tried to stop me leaving after wiping out a gang of child sex traffickers.
Using my psionics I had telekinetically held him in place, then taking off his mask I had left a small cut under his eye before putting his mask back on and leaving. I must say though I think I gave him a big enough scare as I hadn't seen him since even when I was making a huge ruckus.
I had a few encounters with the police during my little gang massacres, but after the first corrupt cop to shoot me had been hung up by his guts over a streetlamp the police had added me to a special watch list that meant nobody was allowed to engage with me and was too immediately retreat and call for back up.
I also met Black widow both on her job and walking around the city. The first time I met Black Widow was when I was strolling along the beach in my base form, at the time I had just finished electrocuting a rapist and was taking a late night stroll along the waterfront when she attacked me with Hawkeye.
Having an arrow fly at me wasn't very nice to start with but said arrow then covering me in a sticky pink liquid was even ruder. After that whilst the liquid began to set into a hard rock Black Widow had jumped out of an alley and thrown an electrified net over me.
Shifting out of the liquid I had caught the net and thrown it over six street blocks catching Hawkeye. Natasha for her part didn't panic and followed up by trying to stab me with a taser stick, playing around with her I let the taser hit me.
I must say the look of shock on her face at the time was hilarious and after chuckling at her, I had snatched her taser and tapped her on the head with it before walking away.
The next time I met Natasha, Jean and I were walking around the city and had stopped at a Café for lunch. After about 2 minutes of sitting there Natasha had walked in looking tired. I didn't interact much with her the second time apart from waving at her but it was fine for me.
Arriving outside my house I went inside; my house was a sleek modern villa located on top of a cliff side just out of New York. I planned to move eventually though as I didn't like the overall structure of the house and wanted to build my own.
Sitting on my couch gazing out at the ocean I checked the time on my watch, wearing a watch was a habit I had brought over from my last life and in this life I had built a wide collection. Seeing I had about 20 minutes till Jean was supposed to arrive I decided to check over my notifications, a task I hadn't done in the last few months because I was so busy.

Finished going over my notifications I hear the doorbell ring, standing up I make my way to the door whilst thinking over my rewards. In general, the knowledge is useful, the basic Ai technologies isn't very helpful but it still gives me a new method to add to my arsenal.
The engineering skill from the Horizon Zero Dawn universe is far more helpful, the skill gives me quite a lot of knowledge I didn't know before hand and will improve my designs by a large bit. The material synthesis skill from the same universe is pretty decent as well but it doesn't add much to my already large knowledge pool and would be better off merging into the Polymath skill.
On the other hand, the Collective is an amazing reward, not only is it the full knowledge needed to replicate the finished project giving me tons of background knowledge to add to my collection but it has tons of real world practical applications. I can already imagine combining this technology with a few others to form a massive planet wide information web that will propel humanity into the future.
Just thinking about all the knowledge that will be at my fingertips once I complete this project makes me giddy. My only problem at the moment is getting the resources needed and convincing the humans to join the collective.
Arriving at the door I open it and am greeted by Jean smiling back at me, inviting her in I guide her to the couch and bring out some refreshments. This is going to be an awkward conversation.
