<p>Tom had just finished his pep talk when the draw for the second round concluded. The players gathered around the results board, their excitement palpable. For some, it was sheer enthusiasm, but for others, it was dread. Jerry, to his dismay, found himself paired against David. It was a matchup he didn't want, and David wasn't thrilled about it either. Both were known for their attacking prowess, and the thought of being embarrassed by each other during their turns was less than appealing.</p>

<p>Elsewhere, Jester had been paired against Davis Mitchell, one of the central midfielders in the squad. The announcement of their pairing drew mixed reactions. Some players chuckled, while others shot Davis looks of sympathy. Everyone knew the ordeal he was about to face. Playing against Jester was an intimidating prospect, and Davis looked like he wanted the ground to swallow him up. Unfortunately for him, he and Jester were up first.</p>
