he Black Mountain Castle is a series of caves carved and prepared to become a fortress within the mountain. It is said to have existed for hundreds of years and is now the palace of the new king.
Or rather, a prison for the new king's enemies. The castle and its surrounding atmosphere have always caused terror in those who see it, but now it has become even more terrifying due to the sounds of prisoners being tortured within.
A tall woman in her twenties with beautiful features and long black hair was walking slowly between the cells. The sound of her high heels silenced all other noises; no one dared to breathe, and they stifled their groans and moans.
This beauty in tight clothes and a short skirt revealing her slender legs is, in fact, the most sadistic of the six followers. The whip in her hand is not an ordinary whip; it is a sacred weapon that, once it touches someone's skin, seals their powers. It also contains fine spikes soaked in a special poison that amplifies the sensation of pain. These spikes embed with each strike into the flesh, and when pulled out, it feels as if one's soul is being torn away.
Tak tak tak
The sound of her heels echoed in the corridor and finally stopped. She opened the cell door and stood before the young man with red skin, chained by his hands, glaring at him with disdain.
"Sixth, did you miss your big sister? Why don't you answer me? Was I too harsh on you last night?"
Slowly, she placed her hand on his torn body from the beating, her face showing signs of ecstasy as she licked the blood off her fingers. The young man raised his head and weakly replied,
"When will he return? How much longer must I wait?"
Fifth let out a soft laugh and whispered sweetly,
"Oh, have you grown tired of my company? And here I came just for you. You've always been so mean to me."
Howl
The howl of a wolf interrupted the Fifth, and she looked annoyed. She turned to find a chubby young man with plump cheeks standing behind a massive wolf over a meter tall. It was Fourth, the beast tamer and manager of the Isle of Ancestors. His training level was quite low, but his intelligence and skill in managing the kingdom's affairs earned him a place in the special squad.
Hem hem hem Fourth cleared his throat three times and spoke calmly,
"The boss has arrived, so stop your nonsense and... (suddenly shouted) You traitor, why did you release him?"
Boom
Before the girl could comprehend what happened, she received a kick to her chest, sending her flying and crashing into the wall. Due to Sixth's immense physical strength, the girl lost consciousness, and he took advantage of the situation to grab the whip.
"Attack him, tear him apart!"
The chubby man shouted at the wolf, which began growling, ready to pounce on its prey. Sixth smiled and, with a flick of the whip, calmed the giant wolf, ignoring its master's orders.
"You fool, you were supposed to be the smartest among us, and you didn't realize that Miss Fifth replaced your beast with a wolf she tamed."
At that moment, the chubby man realized the wolf before him was not the one he had tamed, discovering he had been betrayed, but it was too late.
"Let's get back to the topic. What were you shouting... Oh, I remember... ((Attack him, tear him apart))"
The raging wolf leaped at Fourth, the chubby man, and tore his neck with its fangs, causing blood to splatter and stain the cell floor. In an instant, Fourth died without even being able to scream.
With steady steps, Sixth approached one of the prisoners, freed him, handed him the whip, and said,
"The giant wolf will obey you as long as you hold the whip. With it by your side, you have nothing to fear. Getting past the guards won't be a problem. But remember, the beast has a true master. What do you think will happen if its master wakes up?"
He pointed to the unconscious girl and said no more. The prisoner understood his meaning perfectly.
Ignoring the words of thanks and grateful looks from the captives, Sixth left, heading to the throne room, ignoring Fifth's screams and the guards' fight with the giant wolf. He stared at the massive open door, ready to face his final opponent.
"My dear child, you've broken your old father's heart, Sixth. Is this how you betray your father? Is this how a dutiful son behaves?"
The throne room was a vast cave with a giant chandelier adorned with golden skulls hanging from its ceiling. The throne itself was black, and on it sat a man in his fifties with long white hair and crimson eyes.
His face was covered with a light beard, and despite being in his fifties, he was thin, and wrinkles filled his face. These were the effects of his special poison technique, weakening his body day by day, but not enough for anyone to dare stand against him. In a deep voice, he spoke,
"Tell me, recount how you got rid of your five siblings."
Sixth approached the king, known as the Plague, with steady steps and answered the question as if giving a report on one of his missions, as usual.
"The mission wasn't even first-class. As the saying goes, a house divided against itself cannot stand.
Killing Second was inevitable; that man truly hated me.
Third acted on his own and killed First's lover, so he paid with his life.
And you know First; guilt will kill him, and he'll likely isolate himself in a temple.
There's no need to mention Fifth and Sixth. To this day, I don't know why you gave them numbers in the first place."
Ha ha ha The old man's maniacal laughter echoed in the throne room.
"Oh, you really are like me. We are indeed two sides of the same coin. Killing you will truly sadden me, perhaps more than killing my sister. It might rival the sorrow I felt when I learned of my mother's suicide. It's unfortunate, but next time, I won't choose you."
Jin didn't understand his last sentence, but he didn't have time to ponder it. In the blink of an eye, the old man disappeared from the throne and appeared before Sixth.
Whoosh
The king's sword had pierced Sixth's chest. In the silence, the sound of blood dripping onto the floor could be heard.
Despite this, a wide smile spread across Sixth's face, while the king scowled, his brows furrowed. The boy didn't resist or try to avoid the attack, which meant one thing.
"A trap. You used yourself as bait. What are you planning?"
Sixth tightly gripped the king's hand, the frightening smile never leaving his face.
"Of course, it's a trap. I know well that you've found a way to cheat death, so I prepared something special for you."
A golden magic circle appeared on Sixth's chest, glowing brightly as he chanted incantations aloud.
"Savi... Dina... Kata... Pa... Bahu... Bali..."
As his voice grew louder, the golden light intensified, covering his entire body.
The king's face darkened, and he tried to pull away but couldn't escape Sixth's strong grip.
The golden light continued to shine until it filled the entire hall. For a few seconds, the blinding light engulfed the entire stone castle.
Finally, Sixth released his grip, and the king jumped back. Although his eyes were damaged by the light, he could still be sure he was fine.
"Whatever you intended to do, it didn't work... What is this pain consuming me? What are these flames devouring my bones?"
Slowly, he opened his eyes to find a smiling face before him, but the smiling face he saw was not Sixth's; it was his own.
He finally understood the nature of the spell. It was a body-swapping spell, and he was now dying in Sixth's body, not because of the sword he had plunged into his chest. Sixth's strong, modified body with regenerative abilities wouldn't fall to such a wound easily.
The reason was the poison in the sword, now dissolving his body from the inside.
Bam
Sixth's body, inhabited by the king's soul, fell to the throne room floor, releasing his final maniacal laugh.
"A beautiful move, boy. You made me die by my own poison. You truly are my greatest creation."
In his last moments, the smile never left his face as he repeated,
"You are my best child... Two sides of the same coin."
"Savi... Dina... Kata... Pa... Bahu... Bali...
