A Love That Shouldn’t Be (Part 4)

Felix sat alone in his room, staring at the ceiling.

He had spent years building walls—strong, unbreakable walls—to keep people out.

To keep her out.

Lisa.

She was the only one who made him question everything.

The only one who made him feel things he didn't want to feel.

But no matter how much his heart pulled toward her, his pride and cold nature kept pushing her away.

He couldn't afford to be weak.

He couldn't afford to let his emotions control him.

Loving Lisa meant opening himself up to pain.

And Felix didn't do pain.

He only knew how to be strong.

But then why did he feel so empty?

Lisa stared at her phone, her fingers hovering over Felix's contact.

Should she call him?

Ask him why he acted the way he did?

Why he cared who she was with?

But she already knew the answer.

He didn't care.

Felix was cold, distant, untouchable.

And yet, no matter how much she tried to let go, her heart refused to listen.

She had fallen for him—hard.

But love meant nothing if the other person wasn't willing to fight for it.

Lisa sighed and dropped her phone.

Maybe it was time to stop chasing something that would never be hers.

Felix avoided Lisa for days.

He didn't call.

He didn't text.

He acted as if she didn't exist.

Lisa tried to act like she didn't care.

She laughed with her friends. Smiled like everything was fine.

But inside, she was breaking.

And Felix…

Felix was suffering in silence.

Because his pride wouldn't let him admit the truth.

His cold nature wouldn't let him surrender.

So instead, they remained trapped in a silent war.

A war where no one was willing to take the first step.

A war where love and pride stood in the middle, keeping them apart.
