A Love That Shouldn’t Be (Part 5)

Felix wasn't the kind of person who bent for anyone.

Not for his family.

Not for his so-called friends.

And definitely not for Lisa.

His feelings—whatever they were—meant nothing.

Because in the end, emotions made people weak.

And Felix refused to be weak.

So he did what he did best.

Ignored her.

Pretended she didn't exist.

Even when he caught glimpses of her at school, laughing with Baskhar.

Even when he heard her voice from across the hall, sounding distant, almost sad.

None of it mattered.

At least, that's what he told himself.

But deep down, something about seeing her with him made his blood boil.

Lisa knew better than to expect anything from Felix.

He was cold. Detached. Unreachable.

And yet, she had fallen for him anyway.

She had hoped—deep down—that maybe, just maybe, he felt something too.

But it was clear now.

Felix wasn't going to change.

Not for her. Not for anyone.

So why did it still hurt?

Why did her heart refuse to listen to logic?

Lisa sighed, staring at her reflection in the mirror.

"You need to stop this," she whispered to herself.

But no matter how much she tried, her heart was already lost.

Lost to someone who would never let her in.

Days passed.

Felix remained cold, unreadable.

Lisa forced herself to move on—or at least, pretend she had.

She smiled more. Talked to Baskhar more.

But no matter what she did, she couldn't shake the feeling that someone was always watching.

Felix.

Even if he never spoke to her, she could feel his gaze.

Hard. Calculated. Unforgiving.

Like he was silently daring her to forget him.

But how could she?

How could she forget someone who never truly let her go?

Even if his pride and cold nature kept pushing her away.
