[Chapter 30]
(GARNETT POV)
I slowly opened my eyes… my head hurts so much.
“G-Garnett, wake up.”
When I looked to my side, it was George. I immediately sat up, but I held my head because of the pain. Tsk!
“Slowly, where does it hurt? Wait, I’ll call the nurse.”
“D-Don’t bother.” I looked at him, and that's when I realized I was in the clinic.
“Are you sure? What happened? I found you already being rushed here to the clinic. They think you slipped in the bathroom. It’s good you woke up.” I smiled a little, seeing the worry on George's face.
But my eyebrows immediately furrowed when I heard what he said. I remembered what happened earlier.
“I didn’t slip. Sarrah pushed me.”
“W-What?”
I nodded and rubbed my head. That really hurt. Tsk! That Sarrah, really!
“By the way, are you okay now? Does anything still hurt?” he asked.
I smiled at him.
“Don’t worry, I’m fine.” I smiled.
