I immediately followed Jerome after Elisha pushed him away. E-Even though it hurt to find out that something happened between them. E-Even though it hurt to hear Jerome say he wanted to marry Hazel. 


E-Even though it hurts, I still worry about him. I worry because I love him. 


I stopped when I saw him suddenly halt in the middle of the road. My eyes widened as a car sped toward him. 


I ran toward him as fast as I could and pushed him away. But I froze when I saw the car heading straight toward me. 


I slowly opened my eyes… M-My body and head hurt so much. 


I turned my head to the side and almost smiled. 


"W-Why did you do that? You should’ve just let me get hit! Because I’ve been an idiot to both you and Hazel… I-I’ve hurt you both." 


I gave him a faint smile and gently squeezed his hand.
