[Chapter 42]

(HAZEL’S POV)
"How? I’m about to enter the restaurant." Garnett bid me goodbye.
"Alright, take care."
He nodded, smiled, and then left.
I took a deep breath. Hays! I’m not used to going home alone without the two of them. Suddenly, I glanced to the side and was shocked to see Cristina throwing up.
Without hesitation, I approached her.
"Cristina? Cristina, are you okay?"
She looked at me.
"Oh, it’s you, Hazel. Yeah… I-I’m—" before she could finish her sentence, she suddenly collapsed.
"C-Cristina!" I immediately rushed to her.
"Help! Someone help me!"
"Hazel?! Cristina?!" Someone ran toward us.
It was Jerome.
"What happened to her?!" he asked with concern, which surprised me a little.
"Jerome, we need to take her to the clinic, quickly!" I said.
Without hesitation, Jerome carried Cristina back inside. I could clearly see the worry on his face.
