11- Arrogant CEO

"How did this..." Steven barely spoke, seeing her put the ring back on, and it adjusted itself with her finger.

"Do as what I say if you want this ring to stay on my finger," she ordered him with a courageous face until she felt something pocking her down.

She gradually turned down her look at that area as his breath got hot, slow by slow. Once she realised this, she crawled back to her place at light speed, covering her embarrassed face.

Steven then stood up and ran upstairs quickly, unable to hide his bulged pants.

Steven slammed the door behind him, leaning back on it. He gasped, remembering how the pleasure spread over his body once after getting touch of her soft vulva. He could still perceive that fleecy, which slows down his penis from shutting down.

"Come back to normal!" Steven muttered under his breath quietly, lying on the bed with his back facing the ceiling.

At the living hall, Abby slapped her cheek softly, scolding herself, "How can you be clueless like this?"

The next day, awkwardness filled the living room atmosphere just when Steven and Abby's eyes met.

Abby ran back into her room while she was halfway up the stairs.

Steven threw his eyes at his breakfast, trying to continue eating. However, his shyness fans out, shivering in his hand. After offering a solid slap to it, his hand came back to normal.

At the office, Steven came first by the car, while Abby came by the bus purposely.

While she was on her way to her department, Duri blocked her, asking, "Are you avoiding me?"

His eyes flashed innocent, which melted her heart right away, pulling her mouth to talk nice to him. However, remembering how much Steven teased her yesterday, she pursed her lips before declaring confidently, "No."

Duri offered a smile, "Then good." He asked her, "How about a coffee?"

She blinked, thinking for a second, "What to do, say now?" Then she checked the time on her blank hand and excused herself, "Sorry, I'm running late. Bye!"

Looking at her running away and noticing she had no watch on her wrist, he sighed, "She is avoiding me."

"Yes!" An authoritative voice came from his back.

He turned around only to find Steven, who was repeating, "Yes! She is avoiding you."

Duri bowed politely since he should have given respect to the CEO.

But Steven interrogated, "Are you trying to get back her after dumbing her?"

"What?" Duri gave a confused blink despite understanding his words.

"She is my wife. Stop interfering with her life again!" Steven firmly warned him with Levi beside him.

"It's not like what you think, sir." Duri tried to explain, but Steven walked off without sparing a second to listen to his reason.

"Did I say it correctly?" Steven asked in a lower voice.

"Yes," Levi nodded.

"Is this also one of the things a husband should do?" Steven questioned with sceptically raised eyebrows as they headed towards their office room.

"Yes, boss. You did well!" Levi gave a thumbs up while Duri flashed a sceptical glance at Steven, thinking, "Didn't he find me yet?"

Abby came and settled in her seat. Not even a second passed, and Clara busied Abby with a new task: handling two Pendrives. "I want the copy of this fast."

"Okay!" Abby replied energetically.

Clara then rushed outside, picking up the files. "I'm already late!" She mumbled anxiously, running out hurriedly.

"Again? CEO is going to yell again." The staff next to Abby told herself.

"Why?" asked Abby.

"Don't you know about our CEO?" That stuff sounded mysterious and thrilling.

Abby shook her head left and right with curiosity.

"There is another name for our CEO. It is called..." That staff trailed the curiosity and whispered, "Arrogant CEO."

Abby scoffed, "Is this it?"

Frustration attracted the staff's face because she expected more reaction from Abby. But Abby continued her work as if this were nothing.

Clara barged into the meeting hall and earned everyone's glance, including Steven's. She hurried and put those files near Steven's hand as Steven sighed intensely.

"My apology, sir. It became-"

"Shut up!" Steven yelled, and that shuddered everyone inside the meeting hall, leaving the tranquility. Clara tied her hand in front, nervous.

"Ms. Lucy, I heard the files were prepared yesterday. But why is it sitting at my table at 10:00 am?" Steven asked sarcastically, burying his rudeness.

"Yes, sir. I handed her the file yesterday at 4:00 pm, sir. I don't know why she is coming late." Ms. Lucy informed her with hesitation; fear crawled through her voice.

Clara kneaded her hand, afraid of what was coming from her from Steven's tension.

"I cancel the meeting!" Steven firmly announced with a serious face and walked off the hall.

Abby got a glimpse of Clara coming inside. She flew to hand her the pen drive, but unfortunately, Clara's ignorance made her realize something wrong happened to Clara.

With a concerned face and a hesitant walk, Abby followed Clara up until Clara sat in her seat.

"Chief?" Abby kept a lower voice, putting down the pendrive on her table.

"Meeting cancelled. I don't need it anymore." She voiced apathy.

"It is postponed?" Abby interrogated but received a head shake only from her, which triggered her mad.

"Why?" Abby queried again.

Letting out a brief sigh, Clara declared, "I was late to submit the files."

"But it's only 5 minutes." Fury sneaked from her.

"Seeing you, you had no idea of how Steven was in the office." Clara dictated.

Abby's eyes rolled aside as she remembered, "His other name is Arrogant CEO!"

She pursed her lips angrily before excusing her politely, "Let me use the restroom."

Clara nodded before dropping her frustrated face on the desk.

Abby hurried outside.

"Lunatic!" She shouted and barged inside Steven's office, earning his look right away.

She moved forward and stood facing him as he flared a mad face, roaring, "Who is lunatic?"

"You!" Abby raised her voice boldly.

Steven sighed in annoyance and held the grudge on papers that he had been checking earlier.

She snatched those papers and threw them away as he gave a shocked look at those flying papers, which slowly landed on the floor.

He turned his raging eyes at her yelling, "What are you doing?!"

She crossed her hands across her chest, projecting a serious-looking face. She queried him, "Why did you cancel the meeting?"

"Did you just throw contract papers for this?" Steven questioned her back.

Both flared competitive tense. No one seemed to cool down from flaming mad.

"Answer me!" Abby was steady with her intention. Her rudeness-filled voice raised his pressure level.

Despite that, he responded to her in the same sarcastic tone, "That's none of your business."

"It is!" She bellowed and enunciated with outrage, "I retyped all the pages in that file, which you rejected earlier for being 5 minutes late. That's why I starved yesterday night for more than what my stomach needed. Don't you remember how fastly I emptied your meats even after having my dinner fully?"

Steven's raging eyes turned into guilt with a blink. "Why did you retype them?" He asked.

"Ms. Clara asked me to do it because it had a lot of spelling mistakes." She revealed.

Steven blinked with confusion, declaring, "But Ms. Lucy told me she handed her the files in the evening. You are mentioning that you retyped the whole file. How did you finish it in one hour? Office closing time is 5:00 p.m., and you returned home before me."

"She didn't! Ms. Clara went by herself in the morning and found that Ms. Lucy was struggling with finishing it. So she finished it the half by herself and handed me to retype the spelling errors in Ms. Lucy's parts."

Steven looked into her fierce eyes as she advised him, "Ask them the reason for their mistakes before coming to conclusions!"

She then left as Steven's ascertaining-lapse eyes fell on her feet.

"But why did she throw these papers? Now I want to reorder these papers. He sounded energyless, sighing desperately.
