flowing emotions

"I wanted to tell you something." Jade said with locked fingers.

This had played out the day Adria was pushed off.

"Which is." Author answered in a cold tone.

The three of them had been friends, way back in high school, and only stopped being that, when they were graduating, it was a sad fact, she had to bare.

She leaned in on Author, her cheeks now red, and her eyes keeping to his chest, where her hand now clearly laid.

"Now that... Adria might not wake up again-"

"Might not wake up?" He repeated her words, only this time with more urgency.

"She may not make it, I mean through the fall." Author's face squeezed, and he removed her from his body.

Indeed she was stock in the hospital, and indeed Jade wanted her dead... But, she couldn't get the fact why he still loved her... It was irritating.

"That's what I wanted to ask... if you wouldn't mind, going out with me... instead." Her cheeks got even brighter, and her head bowed a little.

Author had been speechless, and was unable to answer.

Jade, on the other hand, had been feeling like the most happiest person alive, the one and only thing she wanted was his attention, and his love, but unfortunately she couldn't get that.

Author turned around, and dug his hand into his pocket.

"If this was the reason for you bringing me her... If you think Adria would be happy hearing that, then you failed." He left her one last glance over his shoulders before leaving, the door slamming hard, and Jade staring down with clenched fist, teeth's gritting, and her heart racing from anger.

She hated it, she hated them... She hated Adria Cadell.

Adria stood speechless as Vythos leaned in and placed his hand on her head.

"What?" She started at him, Dakota never did that... No matter how hard she tried to get his attention.

Adria came back to her senses, slapping his hand off, and putting on a more serious face.

"We have to talk." She didn't know what this feeling was... But she had to get rid of it, fast!

"Sit, let's have tea hm?" Adria shook her head, she didn't want to have a tea party with him, not now, not ever.

"Vythos, was it?" She said, hoping to put some pain in him, by acting like she had forgotten his name.

"I'm surprised you still remember it. Last we met, aside the time at your work space, you called me Joshua." He chuckled. "It didn't even start with a 'V." Adria found a small smile on her lips, a soft scoff getting let out, and her heart warming up little by little.

A joke that wasn't even funny... Yet she laughed to it... Was it because he laughed? Was it because she saw someone other than her laughing?

Adria dropped the smile, and that made Vythos clear his throat.

Sometimes, he acted too much of a child.

She was going to be blunt, and she was going to make her point clear.

"I don't remember you... I don't want to... And I never want to."

Vythos looked up at her, his face flashing a hint of hurt in it.

"It's sad that you lost your memory... Don't you think Adria." She felt her body go stiff at his words, for some reason when he spoke that name, he spoke it like she was a different person, trying to impersonate her.

"It truly is." She chuckled.

"But," Vythos took a step forward, and only then could she fully hear his British accent... It was as clean as they made it to be. "No matter how much you don't want to remember me... I'd make you." His words came out soft, and hot to her ear.

Adria felt shivers run down her spine and full speed, and her eyes glanced down...

He was a bit taller than her.

Her face felt hot, and her lips dried up.

"Why?" Was all she was able to say, it was the only thing that came out.

Vythos didn't answer.

Instead he backed off, and gave her a bright smile.

"Well, it's been a long time, but you have work today right? I'd leave you to it, should I drop you there." Adria gulped, he suddenly changed.

"I have my car, thank you." She raced out, her face getting hotter each second.

Why? That was the only thing she kept on thinking. Why was she now getting distracted with such stupid feelings?!
