someone she needed to find out

"Ah!" Adria jumped out of the bed… sweat dripping from her chin and, her hair messy, her bed already wet, and her heart racing.

What was that dream? Would she get pushed off a second time? Adria checked out her surroundings, and sighed in relief.

She was still in her room. She fell back into the bed.

It was about time she figured out who this person was…

The door opened and Vythos walks in.

Adria's eyes widened, and even though she was in her nightgown, she still felt naked to him.

In a hurry, she hid under the covers.

"what… what are you doing here, Vythos?"

He could only but smile.

"I came for you." Suddenly she sheets pulled slightly and when she reviled her face, he was… gone?

The door was shut close, and she was still alone.

Was that one of her imaginations or what? Adria pulled the sheets down even more, trying to get a better view at the room.

Even if it was a simple imagination… why did she rush underneath? Why did she feel So embarrassed? Why did she feel so exposed? Why did her heart race? For someone she barely knew?

Adria thought and got out of the, her warm feet mixing with the cold floor.

Perhaps it might've have been the memories of Adria. She thought while now standing right in front of the mirror.

She would never get used to her new look…

Adria spun around, she needed to figure things out quickly, and she would have to make quick stops.

Adria's car suddenly drove up to Author's house, she got down, giving it a long stair, before walking to the gates, which slid open in an instant.

The maid were still there, Titi' was still there, and the moment she saw her, she smiled delightedly.

"Welcome back, young mistress, Adria." They all said, but Adria knew the only here that was actually glad for her return was Titi.

"Please… I won't be staying for long." With that noted, she walked into the halls, of the house, Author was no where to be seen, so she checked the one place he would be.

"Ah, there you are." She said while walking deeper into his study room.

He sat calmly, but upon her arrival, glanced up at her.

"what are you doing here?" Author asked coldly.

"I came to ask for your help… in something."

"Oh yeah?" He smirked, and put his pen down. "What does.. Adria Cadell want from me?" He threw on a fake smile, his fingers now getting locked.

"I wanted to ask…" she ignored the sarcasm in his voice and went straight to the point, pulling out one of the chairs he had, and taking a sit. "Do you know where it is, I got pushed off?"

Author cocked a brow, and remained silent.

She wasn't ready to play child's game with him, but at the same time needed his help.

"And why should I tell you? Why should I help you?"

Adria squinted her eyes for a second, a sigh released next.

"Look… I'm sorry for whatever I did back then, but right now, I need you to help me."

"To help you?" he nodded few times. "Fine."

Adria looked up. She was surprised, and that made her smile a little.

"Thank you."

He glanced to the side, avoiding her gaze completely.

"What do you need?"

"A location."

Author turned back to her, his brow nearly cocking.

Location? He thought.

Since he was with the real Adria all the time, he must know where she went that day… where she got pushed off.

"Near a central park, at the 'All Stars restaurant." Adria replayed his words, coming to yet another stop at, Vythos house.

She stepped out, pressing the button to the side of the gate, and waiting for a response.

Before she could get any, an old man, dressed up classy and flashy, walked up to her.

"And you must be?"

Ah, that was who he is, she was going to throw a guess.

The Sebastian of their family.

"Adria Cadell… I'm here to see Vythos."

"Wait a moment." He turned around, and headed in at full speed, coming out seconds later, before opening the gate.

"Mr. Batchwalker is waiting." She nodded and walked in, stopping slightly, as something up the balcony caught her attention.

It was Vythos, and he was leaning on the edge with a grin on his lips.

She raised her head higher, but this time with her hand blocking out the sun light.

"Can we talk?" She asked, her face now squeezed from the unbearable sun light.

"It's a surprise that you came here. What do I owe this unexpected visit too?"

Adira dropped her hand, she needed to address a matter, one that couldn't wait.

"Nothing." She replied after a long while of thinking.

"Nothing?" his smirk widened.

And Adria took that as a sign to come in.

The doors opened, and when she took her first in she was left, breathless.

Suddenly, she felt a tap on her shoulder.

"You came in fast." She turned and saw Vythos behind her, smiling.
