White Eyed Angel [1]

Ayil ,Usiel and Ariel floated above the last major settlement they needed to purge.

"Usielllll, can I destroy this one? I only had a chance to purge that one temple!" Ayil asked excitedly.

Usiel was deep in thought; Ayil was more akin to a berserker in the way she fought. She killed mercilessly and savagely, and yet she enjoyed the fight more than ending it efficiently.

It was rather the opposite of what he would do.

Instead of sizing up her opponents and finding a weakness before striking at it, Ayil would attack head-on without a care for her personal safety.

Ariel smirked before answering, "I can't take all the fun from my dearest sister. you can have this one."

"Thank you, sis Ariel! I shall make quick work of this nest!" With those words, she rushed towards the large urban expanse, leaving Ariel and Usiel alone.

"Usiel, do you know why Sophia went on her own to rescue some demons? I know she has a soft heart, but they are demons. A soft heart should be reserved only for those made in Father's Image." Ariel tapped her cheek as she asked.

Ariel truly believed that those who abandoned Father were not worthy of mercy or grace.

"I believe she thought you were too cruel. You should know that her belief is rather different than yours," Usiel spoke plainly as he gazed at Ayil crash-landing in front of the city gates.

Ariel placed her hands behind her head as she groaned.

"Empathy is truly wasted on the demons... I would understand if it was some human women, but fallen angels and demons... I just don't get it."

She didn't understand how her sister could feel anything for such despicable creatures.

They would suffer eternally anyway; Why would it matter if they suffer in this life too?

"I personally found your actions overly cruel myself. With your power, you could have easily induced rebellion and eliminated all unnecessary demons without such painful methods." Usiel spoke coldly, while he, like Ariel did not feel pity for demons and fallen, it did not mean that he found joy in tormenting them.

They were to be eradicated- no talk, no fight, and no compromise.

In a way, Usiel disagreed with both Ariel and Sophia.

Ariel was too cruel and playful, while Sophia was too soft and lenient.

Usiel sighed as he watched Ayil prepare to bust down the gate; her own part of Father's mission would soon come.

"Usielll, we should watch our cute little sister! I'm sure she will have a lot of fun." Ariel giggled as she followed Usiel's example and observed her dearest sister.

"I guess you are right, there is no point in discussing the actions of angels. After all each of us embodies Father's will." Usiel crossed his arms.

Ayil embodied his ruthlessness, Usiel embodied his will, Sophia embodied his kindness, and Ariel embodied his distaste for impurity.

Ayil landed in front of the majestic wooden gates; the walls were about same as Vitpacar, however, they had a faint hum reminiscent of fortification enchantments.

Ayil smiled, her dress fluttering in the wind.

The city guard hadn't reacted to her presence; after all, in their mind, it was merely a young harpy girl that approached them, completely unarmed and unarmored.

[Holy Arsenal], Ayil activated her skill.

Where once an unarmed girl stood now was an angel with eyes white as snow.

Holy light coalesced in her hands, creating a holy weapon in the shape of a battle axe.

She brandished a battle axe, larger than her own body and yet she used it with such ease.

She approached the gate, ignoring the guards ordering her to stand back.

With a swing, the gate was completely shattered.

The panicked shouts echoed around her and yet she tuned herself out.

'This is my mission, Father shall praise me for doing good job!' She imagined the happiness she felt when her father called her by name for the first time.

She wanted it to happen again.

She hummed in her mind, completely shutting out screaming demons as she happily cleaved through them.

Guards and Citizens, they all fell by her hand.

Their screams fell on deaf ears.

"In Father's Name, I will purge you all!" She excitedly shouted, each swing leveling parts of the city.

They ran from her, they begged for mercy and yet it mattered not.

Ayil was ruthless, cold, and uncaring.

If Ariel loved the Demon's Pain, and Sophia wanted them to have peace.

Ayil wished for none of that, they were nothing but targets for her to cut down.

With every swing, thousands of demons perished; they would be granted no quarter.

While she massacred the impure beings only one thought bounced in Ayil's head.

'Father will definitely be happy with me if I do this quickly!' She giggled slightly as she cut down a large minotaur guard.

Just as she finished her thought, Ayil found herself thrown through multiple buildings, her battle axe leaving her hand. Unlike [Armament of Chrunus] the Weapons created by Angels were permanent and so the heavy battle axe fell with a heavy thud.

"Who in the hells are you?!" A large Lizardman shouted, his Red scales covered by full plate armor, in his hand he carried a large spear.

His voice carried hints of fear and panic.

Ayil rose from the rubble. In her hand, a new weapon appeared, a longsword made of pure light.

"I am Ayil, Father's Blade and your end." With those words, Ayil charged towards the Lizardman. Their weapons clashed before Lizardman was sent tumbling back.

Ayil did not give him an opportunity as she threw her longsword at him with immense strength.

In a moment of distraction, a new weapon appeared in her hand, another battle axe.

She flapped her wings as she appeared behind him.

In panic, the lizard held his arms up and cast [Greater Fortify]. His body glowed green as the battle axe slammed into his armor, shattering it and almost cutting off his hand.

Lizardman's hand regenerated quickly as another slash cut it off.
