Elias stood frozen in place, his heart pounding as Prince Aedric's intense golden gaze bore into him. The tension in the air was suffocating. He could feel the weight of Aedric's unspoken accusations and Lady Selene's sharp, observant eyes studying him. His mind screamed for him to admit the truth, to tell them who he really was.
