79: Who's your 'master' - Part 2

The air in the dimly lit chamber was thick with tension. The Viscount sat bound to a chair, his wrists tied with enchanted ropes that prevented him from using magic.

His face was pale, sweat beading on his forehead as he avoided looking directly at Prince Aedric, who stood before him, arms crossed, exuding an aura of authority and barely restrained menace.

Lady Selene leaned against the stone wall, watching with a knowing smirk, while Elias stood slightly behind the prince, arms folded, his sharp gaze locked onto the Viscount.

Aedric took a step forward, his boots clicking against the stone floor. "Viscount, I suggest you start talking," he said, his voice calm but laced with warning. "You've been caught red-handed attempting to use forbidden magic against the crown. I'm not feeling particularly merciful."

The Viscount swallowed hard but held his ground. "I—I don't know what you're talking about."
