Chapter 6: Heroes & Villains VS A Greater Threat

The saviors walked in alongside Hannah.

"What now? They killed Moonlight and Luna..." one savior muttered, his voice heavy with grief.

Hannah's expression darkened. "I don't know... All we have left is Calamito, Marcus, Yaxoc, and those warriors Kuri mentioned."

"What about the ones from Masoquest?" another savior asked.

"They're still fighting," Hannah replied, her gaze fixed on the demons swarming the sky. "But we might be able to hold our own."

A figure stepped forward from the shadows, his presence demanding attention.

"So, you're the one who wanted me to join forces?" the figure asked.

Hannah turned and recognized him instantly. "You must be Nitomaa, right?"

"Yes, I am."

"Great. You have a strong crew, don't you?" she asked, hopeful.

Nitomaa rolled his eyes. "Leave this to me. I told my men to split up."

Without hesitation, he raised his hand and unleashed a barrage of energy blasts, obliterating the demons in an instant.

Nightshade and Ghostblade approached, wiping the blood off their blades.

"Boss, we cleared out the demons in the south," Nightshade reported.

"Good. Now we focus on the rest," Nitomaa said.

Suddenly, a massive portal tore through the sky, its dark energy spilling into the battlefield.

"This is bad…" Hannah whispered, dread creeping into her voice.

"What does that mean?" Ghostblade asked.

"More demons," Nitomaa answered grimly. "And with the blood sun rising, it's only going to get worse."

Nightshade smirked. "Should we call that unserious guy? You might actually get used to him."

"Like hell I will," Nitomaa scoffed. "We don't need that buffoon."

As if on cue, Yaxoc burst into the battle, tearing through the demons with brutal efficiency.

"Oh damn, look who decided to show up," Nightshade chuckled. "The pot guy."

Nitomaa remained unimpressed. "As always. Let's just focus on the real threats."

As Nitomaa and his men walked off, Marcus and Yaxocara arrived on the scene. They spotted Yaxoc in the midst of his rampage, his fury palpable.

"I think he knows about Luna," Marcus murmured. "Did you clear out the demons from the east?"

"Still working on it!" Yaxocara called back as she dashed away.

Yaxoc finished off the last demon and landed near Marcus.

"More are coming," Yaxoc warned.

Marcus nodded. "Yeah, the others are struggling to keep up. There's too many."

Before they could react, a fresh wave of demons surged from the portal—only to be instantly incinerated.

"Who did that?" Marcus asked, eyes scanning the battlefield.

A figure leaped from a rooftop, crackling with green electricity.

"Seems these creatures don't stop coming," the newcomer muttered.

Bandon, clad in a green farmer's outfit, brown hair with a bacon texture, and a green fedora, adjusted his owl mask before unleashing a devastating electric surge, wiping out dozens of demons in one strike.

"Let's go!" Marcus shouted, dashing off with Yaxoc.

Just then, Ogamak strolled onto the battlefield, clapping mockingly.

"Well, well, well… You must be the anomaly's twin," he said, eyeing Bandon. "Your control over electricity is impressive, but compared to me? It's nothing."

Before he could make a move, a portal opened beneath him.

"What the—?" Ogamak gasped as he was sucked inside.

A second figure stepped forward, sipping a soda.

"There. Saved you the trouble," Banpun said nonchalantly.

Dressed in a red farmer's outfit, with brown bacon-textured hair and a matching red fedora, Banpun's owl mask reflected the eerie glow of the portals above.

Bandon glanced at the sky. "Kuri lied to us. There's way more demons than we expected."

"No, Kuri just didn't know Lucius and Ogamak had more tricks up their sleeves," Banpun corrected. "Let's clean up."

Meanwhile…

A lone figure watched the battle from afar, the wind howling around him, ruffling his messy hair.

"Took you long enough to show yourself," Lucius said as he approached.

The figure turned to face him. "You never truly saw my real form. But you tried."

Lucius smirked. "And I succeeded."

He stepped forward—only to find himself paralyzed without warning.

"What the—?" Lucius' thoughts raced. "No spells, no movement. How did he—?"

The figure circled him. "What did you gain by exposing my identity? I have the answer."

Lucius' eyes widened in horror as he saw his body riddled with bloody holes.

"What… What is this…?" he murmured.

"Unfinished business," the figure said. "If you want to confront me, prove yourself."

Reality shattered like glass. When Lucius came to, his wounds were gone. The figure had vanished.

"Weird," Lucius muttered, walking away.

Meanwhile…

The battle raged on. Most of the saviors had defeated the demons, but three had fallen. The last survivor tried to flee.

Yurgion appeared beside them and ended their life in a single strike.

"Too easy," Yurgion scoffed. "No saviors left here."

Elsewhere…

The blood sun grew larger, its crimson glow intensifying.

Calamito stared at it, grimacing. "Damn… It's getting stronger. Which means the demons are, too."

With a powerful strike, he obliterated the surrounding demons.

"And yet, they still don't stand a chance against me."

A voice chuckled. "Is that so?"

Calamito turned to see a lone demon stepping forward.

"Let me guess," Calamito scoffed. "You're going to attack me?"

The demon smirked. "Attack you? Pointless. You're a fusion of mortal and demon blood—immortal. But not invincible."

Raising a hand, the demon fired a blast—not at Calamito, but at the blood moon.

It shattered.

Calamito's eyes widened in shock. "How did you—?!"

Before he could react, his body crumbled into a pool of blood.

The demon grinned. "One more down. What a pathetic weakness."

A powerful gust tore through the battlefield. Yaxoc landed on a rooftop, his glare burning with rage.

"You…" he growled. "Why are you here?"

The demon's smirk faded. "He looks serious… I should strike first."

Before the demon could react, Yaxoc vanished, reappearing in front of him with an Angelic Flash straight to the gut.

The demon staggered, disoriented.

Yaxoc appeared behind him, landing another devastating strike, causing cracks to spread across the demon's body.

"Damn it…! He's no joke!" the demon thought.

"EAT THIS!" Yaxoc roared, delivering the final blow, erasing the demon from existence.

Meanwhile…

Yurgion returned to the battlefield, looking unsettled.

"This feels… familiar. Like something changed…"

"You're just paranoid," Nightshade scoffed, stepping forward with Crimson Plague.

Crimson Plague crushed a cigarette under his boot. "Let's end this."
