Chapter 105
Ivonne's POV
Lora came to a halt before I did, my feet stopping their movement as I inhaled sharply. For seconds I stood there, not sure if I was breathing as I slowly observed the scene in front of me.
The two people who were seated closely hadn't noticed our presence or the fact we were ogling them. Tobias held Martha's arm, a white substance which I presumed to be toothpaste causing a relatively large patch on her skin.
Mother was sending them the stink eye, her fingers in a fist at her sides as she observed their positions. She was the first to notice us as and that made her clear her throat to jeer them apart.
It was only seconds but it felt like an hour with me standing there and observing them from the sidelines. Tobias blinked and sat up straight, returning to a respectable posture.
"It'll heal in no time and don't be scared if it scars, it'd just peel of later and your skin would be as clean as it was."
