The Key Concepts: Incomplete, Complete, and The Originals

1. Incomplete

An Incomplete is someone who has not yet achieved harmony between their mind, body, and soul. This lack of unity leads to instability, both physically and mentally.

Traits of an Incomplete:

Their energy manifests inconsistently, often leading to uncontrollable surges of power.

They experience memory lapses or emotional instability as their essence wars with their identity.

Incomplete individuals are often stronger than ordinary humans but at the cost of their health, lifespan, or sanity.

The relationship between the user and their Alter (if present) is fractured. Alters in this state act more like parasitic entities, competing for dominance over their host's body.

2. Complete

A Complete is someone who has achieved balance within themselves, harmonizing and achieving unity with their Alter, if one exists. In this state, the user's power becomes stable and refined, allowing for more precise and controlled applications.

Traits of a Complete:

Their abilities are far more powerful and efficient, without the physical and mental toll experienced by Incompletes.

Alters become extensions of the user's will rather than separate entities, creating a symbiotic relationship that enhances combat and survival abilities.

Completes are often seen as warriors who have overcome their inner turmoil to reach a higher state of being.

3. The Originals

The Originals are a terrifying anomaly within the framework of Alternate. Unlike Incompletes or Completes, Originals are individuals whose Alters have completely consumed their host, achieving absolute dominance over the body and mind.

Traits of The Originals:

Originals exhibit unparalleled power, their energy untethered by the limitations of human emotions or morality.

They lack the balance and harmony seen in Completes, but their raw destructive potential often surpasses even the strongest Complete.

Originals retain fragments of their host's memories and traits but are driven by their own will.

They are essentially entities that exist only for themselves, with no regard for their host's original identity.

Their power comes at a cost: they lose the ability to grow beyond their current state, as their essence becomes fixed and stagnant. While they are powerful, they lack the adaptability and emotional depth of Completes.
