"I can not wait for us to get married," Wendy said, resting her head on Eric's shoulder.
She had molten red hair that flowed over her shoulder, wispy lashes that matched her rapture blue eyes, and pale, shiny skin. The blue dress she wore was a gift from Prince Eric, who had it fashioned by Endoria's most known seamstress. The clothing fitted her nicely and matched the hue of the sea they were gazing at.
Eric's hair was Viking-gold, his jade green eyes gave him the face of a Greek god, and his defined cheekbones and Roman nose sat above his concrete jaw.
"I just need to let my parents know that we will be together forever and after that our wedding will be scheduled soon after."
Wendy whimpered, "But what if your parents do not accept us?" She was working as a singer in a bar where Eric, the prince of Baneria, saw her and fell in love with her. Eric wanted them to get married after six months of dating.
Only because he was the family's eldest son and she would one day rule as queen did Wendy consent to marry him.
Eric kissed her on the cheeks and reassured her, "You do not need to worry about them, I will make sure they will accept you, nothing can stand between our love," they continued to gaze at the stunning and enticing seaside, where the water shimmered in an infinite array of blue hues.

"Is this woman of yours aware that you are engaged?"
Eric became irate and said, "I have made my decision, dad. I will not be forced to marry someone I have not even met before. Wendy is the woman I love." His parents are unwilling to accept his decision, and even his own mother does not want to understand him.
Queen Adela attempted to explain to her disgruntled son, "Eric, pay attention to your father. If your marriage with Endoria's princess does not work, there may be consequences. Do not think about yourself only, think about the Kingdom."
He angrily yelled, "Then let there be repercussions, for I can not be a pawn to this Kingdom in the name of monarchy," leaving his parents speechless.
I told you, you have spoiled this lad, now look at the way he speaks about the nation he will one day rule over," King Luther charged, pointing at the door Eric just walked out of.
"Give him some time; I am sure he did not mean anything he said; he just said it in a fit of rage..."
"He already has enough time, and I will not allow him to renege on the 20-year commitment we made to the Baneria Kingdom,"
He called out to the guards who were parading at the door, and they both hurried in, kneeling with their heads down.
"Find out about this girl,my son has been so fasinated by, I want to to know everything about her," he commanded, leaving the room before the guards could answer.

"I do not know how to settle those two anymore, they constantly getting into a disagreement with each other," Adela bemoans to her daughter Diana, who has been her chatting partner for a long time.
Eric resembled his father more than Diana, who shared her mother's features, including moon shadow-black hair that matched her constellation blue eyes and snowflake-pale complexion.
I must admit that I feel sorry for Eric because he is being forced to wed someone he does not love.
She sighed in exasperation as she wiped her forehead and turned to face her daughter. "I too feel for him, I tried to tell your dad to call off the marriage but he refused and your brother does not want to hear anything concerning the princess he is being married off to, none of them want to listen to me," she said.
"How will this situation be resolved?" Diana asked, furrowing her brows in concern.
"You must have heard something about that woman since you have been visiting the village for a while,"
"A... small bit," she told her mother, massaging the back of her neck, "I heard she is a singer at a bat Eric regularly visits, and I have also heard tales about her being the future Queen of Endoria."
"What..., who would be circulating such rumors?"
"I do not know, maybe it is the girl, who knows if Eric has not given her assurance,"
"What would cause Eric to act in such a nonsensical manner?" Perhaps Adela's husband was correct; she truly pampered Eric.

"I can't let them rule over my life just because I'm going to be a ruler someday, why can't they just let me make my own decision for once,"
Wendy sat down next to her bed and watched Eric stumbling and moving around the room. Why would that elderly man with the beard and his wrinkled face wife stand in her path? If only the was a way to get them out of the way.
"Or why do not we just run away, if we do, the Endoria princess will not have anyone to marry her and the two of us can just get to live happily together," Eric proposed, leaving Wendy in awe, how will she get to be a queen if they both run away, he will also be out of money, just that imagination alone makes her scared.
"There are more and better methods to deal with this, honey, not this garbage you are dumping. You have no idea how difficult and horrible the outside world is."
"We can handle all that honey, we can both make it through it," he attempted to persuade Wendy, who was getting sick of hearing his rambling.
"I think you should just follow your father's instruction
"Wha.., why are you suddenly speaking in this manner?"
"Because I don't want to leave Endoria," I'm not ready to leave yet," Wendy complain, narrowing her eyes with a pinched expressi
He pulled her tighter to him, kissed her on the head and giving her a deep embrace. "I am sorry to have proposed that, I was only trying to think of something that could help, I really love you Wendy and I will do anything to be with you," he said.
