Chapter 13 Beta, Do You Like Her?

I raised an eyebrow. "Alright."

"Gianna's test results are good." Allen began. "She's managed to gain back some weight, and her overall health is much better than before."

Allen hesitated, not continuing, and his uncertainty piqued my interest. He seemed to be searching for the right words, which wasn't like him.

"Based on how she's responding to things... you know, given her prior mental health issues. If you're open to it, I have a suggestion," Allen continued.

Everyone had been quick to say Gianna was broken, unprepared, or just plain useless. It infuriated me. They speculated without knowing her true feelings about anything.

I wasn't worried about Gianna personally, but the way she disrupted my work irritated me.

"For God's sake, just say it already!" I snapped, my teeth clenched as I stared at Allen.

"I'm just suggesting you approach the situation differently. Maybe... be a little gentler than usual. After all, she's still a virgin," Allen said.
