The old man scolded Scarlett angrily. "You're making a fool of yourself! Just shut up!"


Then, he turned to Dennis, gave a deep bow, and said with a regretful look, "Alpha Dennis, I've spoiled my daughter. I'm really sorry she offended this young lady. Please forgive us."


Dennis looked cold and he remained silent, just standing there quietly. The invisible pressure seemed to freeze the surrounding air. The old man's face grew increasingly grim and uncomfortable.


Allen, who was standing at the side, hurriedly took a step forward and said with a smile, "Maybe there's been some misunderstanding. I'm sure Ms. Buckley didn't mean any harm. No need to let this mess up the peace between the two packs."


The old man nodded repeatedly and introduced himself. He was Scarlett's father, named Lawrence Buckley. Then, he praised me. "Miss, you seem like a really nice person. I'm sure you're understanding and won't hold a grudge."
