I hopped out of the car when Daemon stopped driving, knowing I had to rush. I was surprised when Daemon followed me into the little boutique shop.
There were only a couple of people in there. The woman behind the counter smiled, and I just nodded curtly at her before going deeper into the store to a long rack of nice dresses.
They had a nice selection, so I knew this wouldn't take too long. As he hovered next to me, I tried to invite Daemon, trying not to think about how we could probably get mistaken for a couple like this.
I was surprised that he came out to join me, but I could feel the curiosity in his gaze, trying to figure out why I had been running down the street like a bat out of hell.
I was moving dresses down the rack when I felt Daemon's eyes move lower, resting on my breasts. I gritted my teeth, but I couldn't really blame him. It was the design of the dress, after all. It was meant to draw the eyes there.
