BEAST OF BRAY ROAD

ORIGIN: Elkhorn, Wisconsin, USA.

This creature is said to look like a werewolf-like being or a large, dog with human characteristics.

Sightings of it date back to the 1930s, but it gained more attention in the late 1980s and early 1990s when multiple people reported having horrible encounters along Bray Road, a rural stretch near Elkhorn.

Eyewitnesses describe the Beast as standing between 6 to 7 feet tall, covered in shaggy fur, with a wolf-like head, glowing eyes, and sharp claws.

It reportedly walks on both four legs and two, move between the other two while it stalks its victims.

Many versions of the legend tell of the creature chasing cars, lunging at individuals, or feeding on roadkill with a strange, almost human-like behaviour.

When more stories spread of the Beast growling, snarling, and even attempting to break into homes, locals grew very scared and avoided going through the Bray Road after dark during that period.

Some believe that it is a werewolf, while others think it is a skinwalker or an undiscovered cryptid.

Skeptics argue it's merely a large wolf or bear, but the sheer number of witnesses telling eerily very similar encounters keeps the legend alive.
