The Secret Meeting

Nia has gone to her shop feeling very upset that my sister did not inform her of my presence. She had been wondering on how to see me and probably speak to me, but pretends and does otherwise in the presence of other people. She was walking furiously and fast when out of nowhere her husbands mistress crossed her way. Nia stopped and looked at her with a surprised expression as to why she is crossing her path. The mistress to her husbands starts offering a fake apology in regards to the news which was published by the paparazzi. Something that had happens days back was what she was offering fake apologies for.

"Mrs. Nia, I really want to apologize to all the news that have been circulating lately. It is all fake and I am urging you not to allow it break your peace", she said to Nia.

"I am not buttered and I have never been bothered about anything you do with my husband. Just keep my name out of it and do as you like. Just focus on your comfort and allow me be", Nia replied to her and walked away.

The mistress got really upset to the answer given to her by Nia, as it was not what she had expected to hear from Nia. She had intentionally confronted Nia so she can break her by offering those fake apologies and probably expecting Nia to reply with a physical attack, so she can get more of herself published on the next articles. The mistress had already invited and paid some desperate stomach paparazzis so they could cover and publish anything that happens during the confrontation with Nia. She was disappointed as he expectations were not met and she walks away with her confused self covered in shame. Nia continued to eat herself up with the disappointment she had with my sister, while her husbands mistress drove away disgracefully.

Ermias had been sitting at the same exact place I had left him earlier. He could not believe someone of my caliber could drag his pride in the mud, and that has continued to frustrate him. He has placed all the blame on his personal assistant for not being able to handle the so-called preppy engineer, leaving him to handle me by himself and ending up feeling disgraced. And the worse part of it was feeling degraded in the presence of a waiter.

His mistress had called to give him complaints of what had inspired between her and Nia. She bega impounding lies upon lies that Nia had attacked her for no reason or whatsoever. She lied about the whole situation that Nia just saw her coming of of the car when she pretended to engage her in regards to the circulating article between her and him. She encouraged Ermias to divorced her as soon as possible so they could be together, just as they've always discussed.

Ermias thought his wife, Nia, has really grown some jealousy of him against other women, and he couldn't believe his long awaiting wife had finally begun to play her role as the real wife. He instantly thought of something else to do to get her more jealous. He then invited his mistress to the fifth anniversary of him and Nia, with the intentions of getting her more pained with the situation.

Nia has been worried about my presence back home. It has gotten her thinking if I would either be a problem to her marriage or just a mere person who is back to have some time with his family. She was on her way to the atelier and then had a call from her best friend, Yasemine. Yasemine has been with Nia since childhood as they had attended kindergarten till they both graduated from the same university. They are close that they both studied the same programs and had since been working together in the same atelier. Yasemine had realized her friend wasn't okay through her voice and then asked what the problem was. Nia sighed and told her I am in town. Yasemine was confused as she asked again if it's really the Jayden she had knew or a different one. Yasemine did not see it to be a reason why she had to be sad or whatsoever. As she arrived to the atelier, Yasemine sat her done and begun questioning her. Nia starts to open up about her plight. She told Yasemine that she could not control it as she burst into tears upon hearing my voice. Yasemine advised her not to pay any attention to me, and that whatever decision she made in the past was the best for herself and the family. She also mentioned about the article she had also read on the news and knew Ermias will be all over her if he finds out about me. Ermias have no idea that I had a history with Nia before he finally took her away from me with his planned scandal. Although I am back strictly for business reasons, but I just can not stand the chance of seeing Nia not being happy where she is

I had gone to meet up with Deon later that evening as I had promised him. Deon has been doing so well for himself with the minimart he had established. It was small yet striving in all areas. We sat on the deck of a yacht as we catch up on all the lost moments we had missed. I gusted him of all the happenings at the mine and how I had become a hero for almost all the worker there. We spoke for quiet a long time when he threw up a question about marriage. I told him I had no one neither am I having any intentions of getting married. He insisted I get someone since I am now a fully grown man and a boss in addition. I said to him that I'll get him married before thinking of my situation. We had a good time when I also asked if he is having someone in his life. He starts to murmur when I asked, claiming he had always wanted to speak to me about it but just couldn't find the right time to do so. He claimed it was not something that could be discussed through the phone and he had been waiting for a day like this to have the discussion with me. Deon being aware of the rules, he trembles as he fights back himself from telling me about the relationship between him and my sister. Being ignorant of all these, I kept making fun of him and forcing him to tell me who that person is. As he was about saying it to me, he looked just right behind and lost his words. I turned to see what he had seen to make him speechless, but again to my surprise, it was Nia who was standing behind a pole watching us as we spoke. I could see the desperation of her wanting to speak to me just looking into her eyes, but she tried fleeing the scene when she had realized that I had seen her. I slowly got up from my seat and starts to walk slowly toward her. At the sight of her seeing my approach, she quickly starts to rush back to her but unfortunately for her, he bag fell off and she starts to pack them back into the bag. I knew I had caught her this time which I have ver. Waiting for all these while. This was an opportunity to get answers to my answered questions five years ago and I had willing to do whatever it tajes just to get my questions answered. Before I got any closer to her, Ermias was already helping her pack back her things and asked her if why her car was widely opened. I still could not believe that she had brought Ermias just to make me feel worse. I wat he'd as they both entered Ermias's car and drove pass me, leaving me to thing to myself if it was really worth coming back to town. I stood there for some minutes till Deon came for me then we went back to our table.
