So, what's gonna happen?" Kai asked, curiosity in his voice.
"I don't know," I replied. "They're probably going to give us another challenge. I think it might be a group challenge next. But honestly, I don't want to stay here too long. The challenges here are only going to get tougher."
Then I turned to him, tilting my head. "By the way, you never told me—what's your power?"
"Oh, didn't I mention it?" he replied casually. "It's teleportation."
I stared at him, shocked. "What? Are you serious? You really have teleportation powers?"
"Yeah," he said with a shrug. "I think I've mentioned it before."
"Bro!" I said, exasperated. "You should have told me earlier! That would've been so beneficial for your... gun practice!"
Kai scratched the back of his head, sheepishly. "Oh, yeah, I never thought about that."
I smirked. "Well, I have a plan in mind now. Will you help me?"
"Why not?" he said confidently. "I'm always ready to help you."
Alia, who had been listening from the side, crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow. "So, what's going on in that devi
ous mind of yours?"
A smile appeared on my face. "Nothing serious. We're just gonna go to... Korea," I said casually.
"Korea?!" they both exclaimed in unison. "Why are we going to Korea?"
Kai hesitated, scratching his head. "I don't think I have enough power for such a long-distance teleport."
I waved my hand dismissively. "Oh-ho, don't worry. I'll share some of mine with you."
He nodded reluctantly. "Okay... but why Korea? And how are we supposed to get there? I mean, I need to see the place before I can teleport there."
I grinned and pulled out a picture on my device. "No problem. Here's an image of the place. It's Seoul, the capital."
Kai sighed, still looking unsure. "Fine... but why do we have to go there?"
I shrugged, trying to sound convincing. "The challenge there is easier, obviously."
Of course, that wasn't the real reason. I was lying—I had to meet someone. The guy I saw in that dream-like vision. There was something I needed to know, something important waiting for me in Korea.
We teleported to Korea and arrived in the middle of the bustling city.
"So, what are we going to do?" Kai asked.
"We're just going to look around," I replied, though in my mind, I was hoping to find that boy from my vision.
He glanced at me curiously. "Are you looking for someone?"
"No, no," I said quickly, shaking my head. "I'm not looking for anyone."
He smirked slightly. "You know, I actually know a couple of Korean guys. One was my gaming buddy, and the other is the son of my father's business partner."
Alia chimed in, "Oh yeah, I know a Korean family too! My father is also a business partner with one
The guy I was looking for, his name was Kim Joonghyuk. Where was I going to find him? I tried to recall all the 50 lives I had seen of him, and then it hit me—the most straightforward way to find him was actually pretty simple.
I used my money to buy a speaker and a microphone. Then, on the mic, I shouted, "Yoogie boogie boooo!
Everyone was shocked, staring at me as if I had lost my mind. Suddenly, a man with a flushed, reddened face appeared out of nowhere and snatched the mic from my hand.
"Shut up!" he said, his voice firm and clearly annoyed
"Where did you find this name?" he asked.
"I found it nowhere," I replied.
He narrowed his eyes. "Tell me, or I will—"
I cut him off, smirking. "Oh, no, you can try anything you want. I'm pretty good at fighting."
Kai looked shocked. "Who is this guy, Zira? Tell me! And why is he grabbing you by your collar?"
Kai pulled out his gun, aiming it at the man, his voice steady but sharp. Alia, standing nearby, was also prepared to fight, her fists clenched and eyes narrowing in determination.
"Calm down, guys," I said quickly, raising a hand to stop them. "He's not a bad guy."
"How do you know me?" he asked, his grip still tight on my collar.
I took a deep breath, trying to stay calm. "I'll tell you later, so please, let go of my collar," I requested.
With a sharp look, he released me, and I straightened up, rubbing my neck.
Alia and Kai squinted their eyes, trying to get a better look at his face.
"Wait a minute, hyung, is that you?" Kai asked.
"No way, big brother Kim, is that you?" Alia said.
The man looked at them in surprise. "Oh! How can it be? Kai, you've grown so much. And Alia, how—you're here too?" he said.
"Wait a minute, now I think I'm missing something. You all know each other?" I said.
Kai nodded and said, "Yeah, I know him. He was my father's business partner's son, and I met him once or twice before. He's actually a pretty good guy."
Then Alia chimed in, "Oh, I know him too. When my father used to visit Korea for business, I often went to his house."
I just stood there, watching them, feeling suspicious. "You guys all have connections to each other?" I asked.
Kim was also being pretty friendly with both of them. He said, "Oh, I never thought I would be able to meet you guys again. I'm so happy! I'm so happy to meet you, Alia!" And with that, he lifted her up and swung her around in excitement.
"But now the question arises," he said. "How do you know me?"
I was hesitant, then replied, "There's a secret I can tell you about it, but just leave it. I just know you."
He raised an eyebrow. "Okay, you're being suspicious. I need to know the reason."
I sighed, "I can't tell you. Didn't I say that?"
He persisted, "I'm not letting you go off that easy."
Kai quickly interrupted, "Please, let her be. Don't ask her too many questions."
Kim looked at Kai for a moment before nodding. "If you say so, Kai, then I can believe she's not being suspicious. But why are you guys here?"
"Well, since you guys already know each other, let me introduce myself to Kim, because I know he doesn't know me," I said. "So, Kim, I'm Zira, Kai and Alia's friend, and their party leader."
"Nice to meet you, but I'm really suspicious ab
out you," he said.
I responded, "No, yes, but I can't do anything about it. But, how are your team members right now? I mean, have you saved them? Is the party doing well?
"
