Ruler

For Aphrodite, the travelling felt as if it took a brief second. But for Diya, it was close to a week. Due to the extreme speed at which she was pulled, she had to slow down the time around her.

If she were honest with herself, the simple fact that Aphrodite did what she did helped Diya become more proficient in her divinity.

Thanks to a very simple yet complicated rule in the world known as physics, everything moving at super speeds is ridiculously dangerous.

Theoretically, a raindrop that cannot evaporate, moving at the speed of light, can cause massive to practically apocalyptic damage.

Due to that simple fact, Diya had to use all her power to dodge any stray debris or in some cases, large clumps of dust to avoid being eviscerated.

Thanks to a certain woman's revenge, Diya had to practically fight for her life the entire trip. Normally, one would simply invoke their divinity, reinforcing their bodies and bracing the damage.

But she had an insane idea where she would train the newly evolved power to the maximum, and having this 'opportunity' was the ideal training ground.

This was a thought that would only occur to her crazy family or any other being that is obsessed with power. Normal gods would not risk life and limb for such an 'ideal' training environment where your body was practically paper dodging an industrial shredder.

Using the common sense of the gods, Aphrodite wanted to get some petty revenge. So when she turned around haughtily, she was not expecting the sight before her.

On the ground, panting as if she had just finished a marathon by only sprinting, was an exhausted and heavily damaged Diya.

Though looking like she was on the brink of death, the proud and satisfied smile was clear to all. The so called petty revenge that Aphrodite tried almost caused a cataclysmic event again.

First was Ema, the flame in Marco's life, next was Diya the calm in their crazy family. Aphrodite at this point, was sweating bullets.

She was not expecting this type of event to occur. She ESPECIALLY did not want to find out what kind of reaction a certain man would have.

The last time she saw him have fun, a god was thrown to the moon, and the literal devil had his horns broken several times.

His reaction was her concern, making her stomach cramp up. Never had it once occurred to the Aphrodite that the 'All-powerful' Greek goddess of beauty, who can make anyone submit to her, feel such forboding.

Here was someone who could make anyone submit with a snap of her fingers. But when this very goddess imagined an enraged Marco storming Tiamat's temple made her shudder.

All because she could imagine Diya dragging her by the ass all the way there to potentially negotiate or at least attempt to contain the enraged Marco.

Just when Aphrodite was having an existential crisis, a mighty roar reverberated throughout the underworld.

A top a mummified dragon stood a man with sickly green skin, golden eyes, dressed in the garbs of an ancient Pharaoh, stood the king of the mighty Osiris the mighty Egyptian god of the afterlife.
