In the morning, Xavion was jolted awake by his alarm clock.

Unable to accept the fact that I had left, he immediately rushed to the hospital to inquire about me.

The doctor berated him, "Weren't you with your girlfriend when she came for the abortion? She came alone! Now you're here asking all these questions. Do you even have a heart?"

Xavion asked anxiously, "Did she choose to have the abortion herself?"

The doctor rolled his eyes, "Who else would have forced her?"

Xavion left the hospital, feeling utterly dejected. He recalled how he had been neglecting and blaming me recently, and his heart ached as if it were being carved with a knife.

He remembered that just yesterday, I had given him another chance, but he had continued to lie. He slapped himself hard across the face several times in self-reproach.

Melody was waiting for him outside. When she saw him emerge, she tried to rush over, but he dodged her.

"Xavion, what's wrong?" Melody asked, puzzled.
