Bellatrix Sinclair
I’m dusting the books in the library when Lazarus enters, “I have a surprise for you.” he announces.
Glancing at him over my shoulder, giving him a dry look. “That usually isn’t a good thing.”
Lazarus rolls his eyes, “Karina will help you, be ready in one hour.”
“Where are we going?” Arching a brow at him suspiciously, “If you’re going to kill me, no need to dress me up for the slaughter.” I explained.
Lazarus exhaled, annoyed. “Just be ready, no excuses.”
“Not like I have a choice.”
My heart quickened as he made his way toward me. It had to be the sex clouding my judgement, but it’s also Karina’s words of his true position of power. I’m torn on where to direct my anger; I’m wavering in my hatred towards him.
He towers over me, and we lock eyes. I can never understand him especially when he fingers trace the collar on my neck. “For one night.” He uttered, removing the collar.
