Dragging Bellatrix out of the restaurant, I thought bringing her to the Central District would have given her a chance to see the humanity that werewolves possess. However, she was adamant on fighting me at every turn and loathing my kind.

She couldn’t escape my iron grip, not even when I forced her into the limo. Punching the button for the screen to separate us, her heart thundered ferociously while her gaze burned brightly with disdain.

“I hate you.” She spat.

My heart hammered painfully in my chest, rage pumping viciously in my veins as every muscle tensed in aggravation. Curling my fingers around her slender throat, feeling her rapid pulse against my thumb while her cheeks flushed. “The feeling is mutual.” I snarled in a lie.
