PINING

Present Time,

By and by, Saturday arrived.

All through the week, Kamaz had kept his word, and he only had access to Zeda from a distance.

She did not lay her eyes on him but he had eyes on her. From the cameras in the house to the eyes of the persons he had assigned to attend the lectures she attends.

But Zeda had no clue and on her end, she was frustrated.

She felt she had misinterpreted his care towards her when he had saved her and began to take care of her. Especially when she got in a chat with some other maids and they told her of how Kamaz had also saved them from very dire situations in the past.

They spoke of his kind heart despite his cold personality, but she didn't listen to the other prowesses they spoke of. All she could deduce was that saving her, bringing her to the mansion, and ensuring she was safe wasn't something special or out of the ordinary.

He could have done it for any person in need!
