The Purple Swordfighter got on a flight near the castle. He figured someone important was visiting given the entourage and giant important-looking space ships parked near the entrance of the castle.
"Halt." The Emperor's guards told Ray.
Ray unveiled his purple laser sword. "Step aside."
The guards took out their staffs with lasers on the top. Ray dodged the first hit then kicked the other guard on the face. He went flying.
Ray then swung his laser sword so hard it cut the remaining guard's staff. He then punched the guard out cold. Just then the Emperor, King, Queen and Princess were exiting the front entrance of the castle with two Palace Guards shielding them.
"Halt!" One of the Palace Guards shouted.
The Emperor stepped out of the Guards's orbit. "I'll handle this one myself."
Arthur unveiled his laser sword and Ray knew of the rumor of the Emperor's laser sword. It was red. And he knew that red bested purple every time.
Ray was still unfettered. He leapt into the air aiming to deliver a deadly blow from above. Arthur simply smirked and stayed in place.
Got him, Ray thought.
But he had hit only air. He looked behind only to be knocked out by the hilt of Arthur's red laser sword.

Many centuries ago.
Before Oren became the Grandmaster of the Order of the Light, he was a Junior Blue Swordfighter who came home to find his entire family slaughtered.
"No!" He screamed upon opening the door to his house.
A figure was standing in the middle of the blood shed. It was a purple-haired young man, the same age that Oren was.
The stranger turned around to face Oren.
"What have you done?!" Oren exclaimed in anger taking out his laser sword and activating it.
"I needed to become a Red Swordfighter." Arthur stared menacingly at the red glow of his laser sword. "So I killed this entire family to become one."
"You fiend!" Oren attacked.
He remembered that one Blue Swordfighter wouldn't be enough for a Red Swordfighter as they were much stronger. Still, he was fuelled by rage. After a few moments of fighting, he had lost to the Red Swordfighter.
He was starting at the tip of Arthur's red laser sword. "You can kill me now but know that the Order will not forgive this."
"Actually I will spare you." Arthur said. "Living with this failure will mean that you suffer for the rest of your lifetime."
With that Arthur hit Oren on the head with the hilt of his laser sword.

Oren was at a prayer place with tears flowing down his eyes. He was in a knelt position and praying to the god Zeus. The white-marble statue was colossal compared to Oren's size.
"Lord Zeus please hear me!" Oren cried. "I need justice not vengeance. The Red Swordfighter is waging a war as we speak. I need to end this. Give me the power."
Oren didn't expect what was about to happen next. A lightning bolt shot from the sky and a muscular figure appeared amongst the smoke.
"Oren I have heard your plea." Zeus said.
Oren who had stood up when the bolt had stuck, now knelt down again. "Lord Zeus. I am your humble servant."
Zeus giggled. "Of course or you wouldn't be here."
Oren didn't expect the god of the galaxy to have such a nice sense of humor.
Zeus motioned Oren to stand up which he did. He patted the young Swordfighter on the shoulder. "I will give you the power of the Light."
"But Lord I already have my blue crystal."
"Yes and that is a form of my power. But I will give you a grander piece." Zeus said.
Zeus still had his hand on Oren's shoulder. Oren felt like an electrical charge had started surging through his body. Zeus let go of Oren. The young Swordfighter cried out as a lightning bolt struck him but it did not cause pain. In fact, Oren felt even more powerful than ever before.
He activated his laser sword. The light was yellow.

Hercules was sitting on a tree branch talking to his friend Sam who was sitting on another branch.
"I just can't let this go on, Sam." Hercules said.
"You aren't thinking about going to do something about it, are you Hercules?" Sam asked with concern in his voice.
"Yes I am." Hercules answered.
"You are aware if you go down there you won't be able to come back." Sam told him.
It was true. For now Hercules was in the heavens. A place where all good immortals and mortals alike spent their afterlife in. Hercules was a demigod. He was the son of Zeus but his mother was a mortal woman.
Hercules was immortal but still could be killed. He gave up his life source, the White Light to the first wielder, so that he could fend off evil forces on earth. But after the emergence of the Red Swordfighter, since then, the galaxy has been shrouded in darkness.
Now things had been taken too far. An Empire had emerged after centuries of relative peace. The Temple of the Order of the Light had been destroyed. It was a symbol which stood for the good of humanity.

"Before you leave." Zeus told Oren.
"Yes, Lord?" Oren asked.
"You must know the truth about Arthur."
The White Light was given to Mayweather who became the first Swordfighter. But he had a twin. The purple-haired Arthur. Mayweather gave half of the White Light's power to his brother. Both White Swordfighters defended the galaxy from evil. But Mayweather knew that two Swordfighters wouldn't be enough.
"I am giving up my immortality, Arthur." Mayweather told his twin.
"But why?" Arthur asked. "You will go back to your old self."
"No, I will keep the White Light but distribute it amongst an Order." Mayweather explained. "I will need your help, brother."
Arthur finally agreed. They went to a fortress in the middle of nowhere on a snowy planet.
They shoved their swords into two openings.
"We must have clear intentions." Mayweather said.
What happened next was unforeseeable. Mayweather was successful in creating a blue crystal which went around his Swordfighters. The fighters's metallic swords were replaced with a blue laser. They all cried in glory. The Order of the Light had been officially created.
Mayweather grinned and looked at his brother who was also grinning but devilishly. Arthur laughed hysterically. "You wanted an army, brother? So did I."
The cyborgs underneath the surface woke up with red in their eyes.
Both of the brothers removed their swords from the openings.
"What have you done?" Mayweather asked.
"I have given up my immortality." Arthur told him. "But I wanted an army of my own."
Mayweather noticed the light of Arthur's laser sword changing from white to red. The color of evil.
"I won't let you win." Mayweather raised his white laser sword.
"Let's end this here." Arthur said raising his sword and getting into a fighting stance.
The two fought for many minutes. Arthur was tired. He hadn't become accustomed to his new power yet. Suddenly, he had an idea. A group of cyborgs all of a sudden appeared where the two brothers stood.
Mayweather knew he was outnumbered. He dropped a smoke bomb then disappeared.
This was the start of the First Light War.
