The Orange Mana Core

The two auxiliary potions had cost Oliver nearly 400 gold coins, and by the time he returned to the estate, he had only 1,100 coins left.

Carefully stashing the remaining coins, Oliver began preparing for the most crucial task : upgrading his Mana Core.

First, however, he had to eat.

Violanda prepared a lavish meal for him, featuring roasted meats with aromatic herbs, sweet fruit pastries, and rich stews of beef and vegetables. This feast aimed to restore his strength for the challenges ahead.

But food alone would not suffice.

Once the meal was finished, Oliver set aside his plate, and sank into a deep meditative state. He sought to bring his soul, mind, and magic back into perfect harmony.

He reached for the first of the potions, the Essence of the Fanged Wolf, and drank it down in one swift motion. The taste was an odd combination of wheat beer, with a strange tangy bitterness that lingered on his tongue.
