"Do you perhaps wanna talk about it?"
Sophia's voice was tentative as she climbed the stairs alongside Sebastian. The tension between them was almost tangible, heavy enough to weigh her down.
Moments ago, Sebastian had stormed out of the Knight mansion, his fury radiating off him like a storm about to break. Not trusting him to drive in such a state, she'd called Mathew to pick them up. Now, as they made their way inside, the silence was suffocating.
But Sebastian didn't answer her.
"Seb..." Sophia ventured again, her voice soft, almost pleading.
"Mind your business, Sophia," he snapped, his voice sharp and cold. He stopped in his tracks, turning to face her with an icy glare. "I don't appreciate you meddling in my private life."
Sophia recoiled but quickly regained her composure. "I'm just trying to help. For how long are you going to keep doing this, Sebastian? It's time to get over Georgia."
