You’re not alone Sebastian

The sound of footsteps announced Eve's return, followed by the doctor she'd managed to summon in record time. He was a middle-aged man with a calm demeanor, though his brows furrowed at the sight of Sebastian.

"How long has he been like this?" the doctor asked as he knelt beside the couch, opening his medical bag.

"Since last night," Sophia answered, still cradling Sebastian. "I think he's been drinking nonstop. He's trembling, and he's burning up."

The doctor nodded, checking Sebastian's pulse and shining a small flashlight into his eyes. Sebastian barely reacted, his head lolling against Sophia's shoulder.

"He's dehydrated and his body's reacting poorly to the alcohol, this happened before. But this time,it's gotten worse." the doctor explained.

"I'll need to administer fluids and a sedative to stabilize him. But I'll be honest—this isn't just physical. He's going through something emotional, isn't he?"
