Harper looked up as I walked in. "Look, she's still wearing the dress."
Cat pointed at me dramatically. "Did you go off and get married again without telling us? We won’t forgive you this time! I could’ve dolled you up if you had just let me know beforehand."
Mia launched into her usual emotional blackmail routine, but I ignored them and headed straight for the shower. Not that it stopped them from talking.
Their energy was exhausting. By the time I walked back out in my pajamas, I was already yawning. I flopped onto the sofa, resting my head back. Harper, always the caretaker, gently massaged my forehead.
"We were so worried," she murmured, pressing a little harder.
I opened one eye and noticed both Cat and Mia had settled next to me. "I bet you guys didn’t even notice I was gone until Friends was over," I muttered.
Mia huffed. "Okay, but listen, we always binge-watch it, no matter how many times we've seen it. It's a tradition since college."
