Chapter 63
At 5:00 PM, Walter came to the basement to wake me, Alucard, and Seras. Reaching the gate leading to the vampire's room, he pushed it open with a tired sigh.
"Walter, my dear friend. What brings you to me so early in the morning?" Alucard asked, sitting on the throne.
"I came to wake you two, it seems the queen has a plan to lure out Millennium. Sir Integra wants you ready to leave as soon as possible."
"Oh? I see, that does sound like something Her Highness would do." the vampire nodded.
"Your Majesty Alucard, it has been like that for the past 50 years." the butler corrected the vampire.
"Oh, please, Walter, you know that after that war, we had a special bond."
"I still don't understand why you had to become a woman. - Walter shook his head before standing up straight and adding, - Besides, as an English gentleman, I had to correct you.
When Walter finished speaking, he walked over to the bed where Seras was sleeping with a smile, intending to clean up the mess she had made. However, there was no expected mess, and he sighed worriedly.
- You are a strange person, Walter. Usually, a person would be happy if he didn't have to clean up after others.
- I am a completely normal person, - Walter disagreed. - It just bothers me that she is so much like you.
- Hm?
- I understand why you, a 600-year-old vampire, might be bored with ordinary things, but she is just a child.
- A teenager, but I understand you. - Alucard corrected. He propped his head on his fist, leaning on the throne.
- Maybe I should teach her to play some instruments. I am probably rusty, but this is more than enough to teach. – Alucard suggested after a few seconds of silence.
- That's a great idea. Let's not tell her until I bring the tools. – Walter took this suggestion with particular zeal and with a smile on his face went to wake up Seras.
Unlike usual, Walter managed to wake the girl up quite quickly, but one of the main differences was that the girl literally jumped up, her eyes seemed to be burning with the flames of hell, and a real hiss escaped from her mouth, accompanied by erect ears.
- Seras? – the butler recoiled.
- Oh, I'm sorry, Walter. It's just that another rat got into my dream, and you stopped me at the most interesting place.
- Oh, then my apologies, but you should get ready. The Queen sent Sir Integra a letter about the plan to lure out the enemy.
- Okay, Walter. – I yawned before changing my clothes with the help of shadows. Seriously, after I learned this, I can't imagine life without such convenience. Just one thought and you're dressed in absolutely any clothes you like.
- You're becoming more and more like Alucard. - Walter sighed before turning to the ancient vampire.
- Isn't that great? - Alucard laughed.
- Not really. - Walter said before leaving.
- What's he saying? - I asked.
- He's just worried that you're too... as people say... mature for your age.
- Really? I thought that I was often too childish.
- How stupid of a death god to worry about such an insignificant thing. - Alucard said.
- Even the Death Gods have their weaknesses. - I simply answered.
- Hm, never mind. I'm interested in something else, policewoman. - The vampire looked at me intently.
- Yes, master?
- What did you say to Ellie? That's not usually her style.
- Pfft, Ellie? - I laughed softly.
- Yes, Queen. We have some... history.
- If I tell you, it will ruin the surprise. However, I will give you a hint.
- So?
- Watch the news Master, this will be... historic. - I smiled before disappearing.
- News? So how do they do it there? - the vampire muttered, picking up the remote for the new plasma.
I appeared right in the middle of the living room on the first floor and jumped on the couch, turning on the TV. Then I took out a bag of blood and changed the channel to the news.
- This is a special bulletin. The Queen will be making an announcement at the Tower. The Prime Minister said it will be of great importance to the country. All citizens are advised to watch it.
Seeing how everything was going according to my chosen path, I smiled before turning to the memories of what I saw in the dream.
Usually when I sleep I dream of pretty nice things, like torturing my parents' killers. Or, like, torturing Elizabeth Bathory.
However, in this dream everything was different. I looked around and clearly realized that this was a dream, which made everything a little strange.
I was in a brick room and when I was already thinking about using my abilities to find out what was happening, suddenly a naked man with a rather ugly face appeared in front of me with a naked woman in his arms.
- Abomination. - I grimaced slightly.
The man smirked as the light fell on him from above, showing how the woman in his arms with a smile on her lips begged.
- Drink my blood.
- Is this what you really want? - the man asked.
- I want you to do it.
The man happily complied and sank his teeth into her neck. The amount of blood that flowed from the wound was so absurd that it instantly soaked the entire floor.
"That's it? They invaded my mind just to show me this?" I thought with disappointment.
"Why are you showing me this?" I asked.
"I'm showing you your true desires. The ones you keep burying inside yourself." The man waved his hand and blood began to pour out of the cracks in the ceiling and walls.
The blood quickly reached the level of my ankles, causing my nose to twitch slightly in pleasure.
"So, let's get this straight. You're a stranger, you invaded my mind. And then you had the nerve to come naked and bring a woman here. And after that, you have the nerve to tell me what I want?"
"Yes. After all, we're both the same. You and I. - The pale-skinned man, vaguely resembling Incognito, grinned confidently. - We were both created by great beings.
- Do you think we are the same? He-he, ha-ha-ha-ha. - I couldn't help but giggle at first, before it turned into crazy laughter.
- What's so funny? - The man got a little angry, but his answer was a snap of his fingers, after which the scenery changed, and he found himself tied to a chair, unable to free himself.
- I don't know what you were thinking. When you decided that invading your enemy's head would be a good idea. But it doesn't matter, I'll show you how different we are. - I said, picking up the scissors.
- What's going on?! You shouldn't be so strong! - The man began to flounder, trying to break free from the bonds.
- I'm not that strong, you're just too weak. Both in body and mind. – I said, cutting off one of his fingers.
- Besides, your wounds won't heal in this place. Isn't that amazing?! – I exclaimed playfully, cutting off another finger, as the prisoner groaned in pain.
- This wasn't in your file! Why are you so different?!
- Oh? So you read a piece of paper and expected to recognize me? How stupid.
- … – he just glared at me in response.
- Are you done yet? And I haven't even gotten out the heavy artillery. – I complained, picking up the axe.
- You know, when I was being beaten in my foster home, I often wanted to do this. – I suddenly chopped off his hand, making him scream in pain.
We continued for what felt like hours, and with each particularly painful blow I complemented the words about the darker thoughts of the past Seras, in her most difficult times. When he had almost no limbs left, I let go of the chainsaw and took the pliers.
- And now perhaps you will think a few times before climbing into other people's heads, especially naked. - I grabbed one of his balls with the pliers and began to slowly squeeze it, accompanied by a squeal escaping from the mouth of this bastard, and when I was about to completely squeeze the pliers in one movement, Walter interrupted me, who so untimely decided to wake me up.
