chapter 04 : finding your courage
It was the weekend, the sky was clear, Gabriel was getting ready to go out, wearing a white t-shirt and a black vest with red margins, and the hood of the vest was red. He had worn green denim shorts. He leaves his room and goes down the stairs.
- I'm going! Exclaims Gabriel as he leaves the house with a bag he was holding in his left hand.
At Ikeda station, the train took longer to arrive and Gabriel impatiently awaited its arrival.
"Yesterday Kaito invited me to spend the weekend with him in Osaka... I wonder what he is like in real life" Gabriel said to himself.
The train had just arrived and Gabriel had boarded. After 20 minutes of travel he finally arrived in Osaka, the port city. kaito had long silky brown hair, he was dressed in a blue shirt that he had rolled up the sleeves and white pants, he was waiting for Gabriel at the station.
Gabriel had passed right next to Kaito without recognizing him because he had never seen him in real life, unlike Kaito who had immediately recognized him and touched him on the shoulder.
- hello little brother, so you didn't recognize me? Kaito (Arthur) asks him, smiling.
Gabriel turned around, he was surprised his voice was identical to Arthur from the game but their appearance differed.

Gabriel was just surprised, they had left the apartment, they had stood looking at girls passing by, it was then that a pretty high school girl was passing by, she had short brown hair with freckles that were not too visible. Gabriel had put the headset in his ear despite that he hesitated to go talk to the girl who was moving away from them. That's when Kaito exclaims "Hey high school girl!!! The girl had returned, Kaito was no longer there and Gabriel was shaking like a leaf, she was intrigued by this last one, she had crossed the road and gotten closer to Gabriel.

Gabriel had fled, the girl had seen him flee, intrigued, she simply returned and resumed her journey.

Gabriel had stopped in an alley, he was out of breath, Kaito had come back angry with him.
- Gabriel, why did you run away? Kaito asks him in an angry voice.
- I didn't know what to do and I'm telling you that you too ran away and abandoned me. Gabriel answers him
Kaito hits his face with his left hand.
- I couldn't stay with you and I couldn't abandon you, the headset I gave you was to coach you. Said Kaito to him in a disappointed era.
Gabriel had become serious again, he had just understood the mistake he had made, yet Kaito did not want to give up, he had explained again to Gabriel what he had to do once they found the girl.
- that's all well and good, but the girl has already left and we don't know where she lives. Gabriel expresses himself in a disappointed voice.
It was then that Kaito let out the laugh of a mad scientist.
- you don't know, but I know where your princess lives. Kaito replies while gesticulating.

- go follow me my little briel I want to take you to the castle of the pretty high school princess.
They had set off for the house of the Pretty high school girl during their journeys Kaito explained to Gabriel how he had known the girl's house.

They had arrived at the restaurant running, Kaito had worn his work uniform, he had taken the order, with Gabriel they had gone to the young lady's house. She had changed, she was dressed in a pink t-shirt and white capri pants.

That's when the girl hits him on the shoulder with her fist.

- go briel we must now leave. Kaito told him.
- okay kaito. Gabriel replied.
As they were leaving, the girl called Kaito "Gabriel" and he returned.
- I'm Kyoko! she exclaims with a smile.
Gabriel smiled when he heard the girl's name.
- Nice to meet you, Kyoko! He exclaims in turn.
After the delivery Kaito and Gabriel went to an amusement park, then to a museum, to the cinema and finally to a restaurant where they had dinner, they returned to Kaito's apartment at 10 p.m. They were so exhausted that They went straight to sleep. On Sunday they visited the city of Osaka, they took souvenir photos, they walked along the rivers, Gabriel helped Kaito in the restaurant. The day was already over, Kaito had accompanied Gabriel home.
Gabriel had pressed the doorbell at his house and was waiting for someone to come and open the door for him; it was his big sister who had come to open the door for him.

Just by seeing her little brother's happy look, she had deduced that he was having fun like crazy and she had smiled.

- how was your weekend? Asks his big sister.
- great but I'm really exhausted, I'm going to go upstairs and take a good shower before going to bed. Gabriel replied as he went into the bathroom.
His big sister was responsible for carrying Gabriel's bag while he showered. After his bath Gabriel stopped in front of the mirror with the towel around his hip, in the mirror he reviewed his two days spent with Kaito and the latter's words came back to his head.
"You know Briel, seeing you smile like that, I said to myself that you probably found the importance of life, you know the virtual world grants us many more freedoms than in the real world, despite all the freedoms granted in this artificial world there is a necessary partwhich is missing and which makes all the difference... This piece is simply life, starting from the little ants to man, we all had an important place in the world and it is this place which gives all its meaning to the life . "Kaito's words touched him so deeply that when he thought about it he lost his smile.
"I'm nothing but a burden to him, I forgot that dying in the game also means dying in reality, yet I make no effort to improve myself... Kaito leads a happy life and yet every time he doesn't hesitate to protect me and save me in the game despite all the risks... I don't want him to risk his beautiful life for me anymore... It's why I need to get stronger so he can take the time to enjoy his life."Gabriel said to himself with determination.
