Christmas Day

Christmas Day came and it was festive inside the Johnson household. Everyone was eating breakfast and chatting lively. Grandma Ruth like yesterday was dishing up for Riley and filling his plate to the brim. Riley was helpless at this, his granny was a bit extra.

The family was planning to go out and have dinner somewhere nice but they eventually decided against it since it was a hassle. Samantha showed up sometime later. She was very awkward at first but her bubbly personality and Grandma Ruth's welcoming attitude made her feel at home.

Sam wanted to talk to Kiara about Riley but she shut her down telling her to save it for later. Riley got along with Kim's younger sister, who's name is Taylor. Riley started developing something and he had no idea what it was. Kiara seeing Riley and Taylor getting along smiled knowingly, she knew Taylor and she liked her. She made a decision to surrender her match ticket for her to go with Riley.

This day was turning out good as the house was filled with laughter. Sam had finally talked with Kiara and she agreed since she could see Riley liked her. Sam broke the news to Riley and he was thrilled as well. He immediately took out the contract that Sebastian had given him.

-Liverpool, Johnson household front porch-

"So what is it that you do exactly?" Riley asked Taylor. She took a bite out of the cookie she held in her hand and answered, "Well, Im an aspiring actress. I want to be the biggest actress to ever come out of Britain." She said with a smile.

Riley mesmerised by that smile a bit also flashed his own. "Lofty ambitions there… but you can do it, I don't know why but I believe in you." Taylor looked at him, "Are you trying to rizz me up sir?" Riley's face was flushed red. "What? N-No that's not it." Riley a little embarrassed.

"Im just kidding. Look at your face. Hahahahaha." Taylor laughed. Riley looked away and stopped talking to her. "You got Instagram? I would like to follow you." She suddenly asked. Riley no longer embarrassed quickly nodded and told her his information. She was stupefied at the followers he had but she chuckled it up at him being a son of a former world famous model.

Riley followed her back and she was happy about it. Riley saw a bunch of kids playing football in the streets and he went to join. Timothy, Dave and Ruth came outside and sat on the porch to watch.

Riley and the kids played a two pole 5 aside game. Riley who thought he would handle these kids was immediately taken aback. These kids were part of the academy's of both Liverpool FC and Everton. Riley quickly adjusted and showed why he was possibly the worlds best prospect.

He showed his football prowess that made his grandmother's eyes turn into stars, 'He has to play for Liverpool one day.' She thought. His grandfather was also amazed. He had watched Riley's games on the laptop and knew he was good but seeing him live he imagined a glorious future. 'Damn, what amount of good luck did I get in my past life to have such amazing descendants.' He thought.

Samatha took a video of Riley playing in hopes to posting it on his social media and gaining attention. Riley performed skills beyond his years. He assisted a goal with a beautiful trivela pass. The kid who scored went over and high fived him.

He scored the next goal when he did a couple of step overs and made a body feint to the left, the guy defending him followed his movements but Riley quickly went right. Leaving the defender on the floor, earning a few laughs. He nutmegged the other defender and scored a wonderful goal.

Taylor who only thought Riley was a good footballer at best was shocked when he saw Riley's display. A smile found itself on her face and her sister Kim saw it. 'No no no no. Kiara's little charmer has gotten to my sister!' She screamed internally.

Riley was having fun and so were his teammates. The same couldn't be said for their opponents, who were having a nightmare. The game continued for a few minutes and eventually came to an end. Riley exchanged names and contact details with these guys who quickly followed him on the socials. They were shocked to find out that at only 14 he was playing for Borussia Dortmund's u19.

Riley on the other hand almost had a stroke when he found out that the opponents he was tearing through were kids who belonged to the Liverpool FC academy and the one's who he was teammates with, were the Evertonians.

His family burst out laughing when they saw his face after that revelation. Riley left his new friends and went back to his home where his grandparents wanted him to join the Liverpool academy and come through the ranks of Liverpool but Riley liked it in Dortmund and he wanted to make a name for himself there first before even considering a move.

The day drew to an end, Sam had left for the hotel where she was planning to wake up tomorrow and leave for the Netherlands to see her family and then journey to Germany with the edited version of the contract. Riley and Taylor were looking forward to tomorrow night where they were going to watch a match between Liverpool and Aston Villa.
