Maria could be seen in her room in her brother's house laying down, then her brother Van walked in.
Good morning she greeted
"How was your night baby girl" he asked
" It was great yours" she asked
" It was okay " he replied
So, I have been meaning to ask, what plans does Raymond have for you? Van asked
You guys have been dating for five years now he added.
Van we love each other, that's what matters the most, more over I'm still very young Maria said.
Maria , Van called
I don't like the fact that you love that guy more than he does, even if you do, you don't have to show it too much it's for your own good van said
No matter what, if you notice any red flag or anything that you can't handle, leave the relationship Van said
There's no red flag or anything I can't handle, we both love ourselves Maria said
By the way aren't you guys going to work today Maira asked
We're going he replied.
I will be going to my shop, but not now she said
Alright they replied
Take care of yourself, with that they walked out
Maria could be seen in the bathroom taking her bath and singing 🎵 🎶 🎶
F**kin' Robitussin
I don't know why this sh*t got me lazy right now, yeah
Can't do Percocets or Molly
I'm turnin' one, tryna live it up here right, right, right
Baby, you can
Ride it, ooh, yeah
Bring it over to my place
And you be like
"Baby, who cares?"
But I know you care
Bring it over to my place
You don't know what you did, did to me
Your body language speaks to me
I don't know what you did, did to me
Your body language speaks to me
I can make it hurricane on it
Hunnid bands, make it rain on it
Tie it up,
Hey Maria reduce your voice Van shouted
Maria laughed and turned down the volume of her music. She finished her bath, got dressed, and headed downstairs to the kitchen.
Her brothers, Van and Vic, were already there, making breakfast. "Morning, sis," Vic said, flipping pancakes on the griddle.
Maria smiled and poured herself a glass of orange juice. "Morning, guys."
Van handed her a plate of pancakes and scrambled eggs. "We made your favorite," he said.
Maria's eyes lit up. "Thanks, guys. You're the best."
As they ate breakfast, Maria's phone buzzed with a text from Raymond. "Hey, beautiful. What's up?"
Maria smiled and typed out a response. "Not much, just getting ready for the day. You?"
Raymond replied, "Same here. I have a meeting with Felix and Sophia later. But I was thinking, maybe we could grab lunch together?"
Maria's heart skipped a beat. She loved spending time with Raymond, and lunch together sounded perfect. "That sounds great. What time were you thinking?"
Raymond replied, "How about 12:30? I'll pick you up at your shop."
Maria smiled and typed out a response. "Sounds perfect. I'll see you then."
As she finished her breakfast, Maria couldn't help but feel excited about her lunch date with Raymond. She had been looking forward to it all morning.
But as she was getting ready to leave for her shop, Van called out to her. "Hey, sis. Don't forget what we talked about earlier."
Maria turned to him, confused. "What do you mean?"
Van's expression was serious. "About Raymond. Just be careful, okay?"
Maria rolled her eyes. "Van, I told you. Raymond is a great guy. He loves me, and I love him."
Van nodded. "I know, sis. But just be careful, okay?"
Maria sighed and nodded. "Fine, Van. I'll be careful."
With that, she grabbed her purse and headed out the door to her shop.
As Maria walked into her shop, she was immediately enveloped in the familiar scent of perfume and fabric. She smiled, feeling a sense of pride and ownership. This was her domain, her happy place.
The shop, named "Maria's unique Boutique," was a small but elegant space filled with racks of beautiful clothes, shelves of sparkling accessories, and tables of exquisite home decor. Maria had curated every item herself, carefully selecting each piece to reflect her own personal style.
As she made her way to the back room, Maria greeted her assistant, Emma, who was busy restocking shelves. "Hey, Emma! How's it going?" Maria asked.
Emma smiled, looking up from her work. "It's going great, Maria! We've had a few customers already this morning, and I've been busy getting everything ready for the sale this weekend."
Maria nodded, impressed. "You're doing a fantastic job, Emma. I don't know what I'd do without you."
Emma blushed, looking pleased. "Thanks, Maria. I love working here. It's such a great atmosphere."
Maria smiled, feeling grateful for her talented and hardworking assistant. She knew that she was lucky to have Emma by her side.
As she began to work on some paperwork, Maria's mind started to wander. She thought about her upcoming lunch date with Raymond, and how much she was looking forward to seeing him. She thought about her shop, and how proud she was of what she had accomplished. And she thought about her life, and how grateful she was for all the blessings she had received.
Just then, Emma poked her head into the back room. "Maria, we have a customer!" she said.
Maria smiled, putting aside her paperwork. "I'll be right there!" she said.
As she emerged from the back room, Maria was greeted by a young woman who was browsing through the racks of clothes. Maria smiled, approaching the woman. "Hi there! Can I help you find anything?" she asked.
The woman smiled, looking up from the clothes. "Hi! Yeah, I'm looking for a dress for a wedding. Do you have any recommendations?" she asked.
Maria nodded, happy to help. "Absolutely! We have some beautiful dresses that would be perfect for a wedding. Let me show you some of our favorites."
As Maria helped the woman find the perfect dress, she couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. She loved her job, and she loved making people happy. And as she wrapped up the sale and said goodbye to the woman, Maria felt grateful for another successful day at her shop.
As the morning wore on, Maria's shop became busier and busier. Customers came and went, browsing through the racks of clothes and shelves of accessories. Maria and Emma worked together seamlessly, helping customers and ringing up sales.
Just as things were starting to slow down, the doorbell above the entrance to the shop jangled, signaling the arrival of another customer. Maria looked up to see a woman in her mid-30s, dressed in a stylish outfit and carrying a large purse.
"Hi there!" Maria said, smiling at the woman. "Welcome to Maria's Boutique. Can I help you find anything?"
The woman smiled back at Maria, her eyes scanning the shop. "Hi," she said. "I'm just browsing, thanks. Your shop looks lovely."
Maria nodded, happy to let the woman browse. "Thank you," she said. "We're very proud of our shop. Let me know if you need any help or have any questions."
As the woman browsed through the shop, Maria couldn't help but notice that she seemed particularly interested in the designer clothing section. Maria made a mental note to ask the woman if she needed any help finding anything in that section.
Maria nodded, finishing her snack. She headed out to the sales floor, smiling at a customer. "Hi, how can I help you?" she asked.
The customer, a young woman, was looking for a dress for a wedding. Maria helped her find several options, and they chatted about the wedding and the woman's plans.
As the customer left the shop, Maria felt a sense of satisfaction. She loved helping people find what they were looking for, and she was grateful for the opportunity to run her own business.
Maria sat down at her desk in the back office of her boutique, taking a deep breath as she picked up the phone to call her best friend, Andrew.
"Hey, Andrew! How are you?" Maria asked, trying to sound cheerful despite the chaos of the day.
Andrew's voice came through the phone, warm and familiar. "Hey, Maria! I'm doing great, thanks for asking. Italy is amazing, as always."
Maria smiled, feeling a pang of jealousy. "I'm so glad you're having a good time. I wish I could be there with you."
Andrew laughed. "You know you're always welcome to come visit me, Maria. But how's work been? How's the boutique doing?"
Maria leaned back in her chair, feeling a sense of pride. "Work has been great, Andrew. The boutique is doing really well, and I've been getting a lot of new customers. I'm really happy with how things are going."
Andrew's voice was filled with enthusiasm. "That's amazing, Maria! I'm so proud of you. You've always been so talented and driven."
Maria blushed, feeling grateful for Andrew's support. "Thanks, Andrew. That means a lot coming from you."
Andrew's tone turned serious. "So, how's things with Raymond? You two still going strong?"
Maria smiled, feeling a flutter in her chest. "Yeah, things are great with Raymond. We're still really happy together, and I feel like our relationship just keeps getting stronger."
Andrew's voice was warm with approval. "I'm so glad to hear that, Maria. You two are meant to be."
Maria laughed, feeling happy. "Thanks, Andrew. I think you might be a little biased, though."
Andrew chuckled. "Maybe a little. But seriously, Maria, I'm really happy for you. You deserve all the happiness in the world."
Maria felt a surge of gratitude towards Andrew. "Thanks, Andrew. That means a lot coming from you."
Andrew's tone turned playful. "So, enough about you and Raymond. What about me? Want to know what's new with me?"
Maria's eyes lit up with excitement. "Ooh, spill the tea, Andrew! Have you met anyone new?"
Andrew's voice was filled with drama. "Honey, I've met someone, and he's FINE! His name is Lucas, and he's a business man. Can you believe it?"
Maria squealed with excitement. "Lucas? That sounds like a supermodel name! Tell me everything!"
Andrew laughed, launching into a detailed story about Lucas. Maria listened, giggling and oohing and ahhing in all the right places.
As they chatted, Maria felt grateful for her friendship with Andrew. He always knew how to make her laugh, and she loved hearing about his adventures.
Finally, after what felt like hours of gossiping, Maria reluctantly said goodbye to Andrew. "I'll talk to you soon, Andrew. Can't wait to meet Lucas!"
Andrew's voice was filled with excitement. "You'll love him, Maria! And don't worry, I'll make sure to bring him to the boutique soon."
Maria smiled, feeling happy. "Sounds like a plan, Andrew. Talk to you soon!"
