The lord's garden oozes with beauty and life. Unlike every other part of hellish realm, the garden has colors and its fabrics are made up of real tangible organic materials.
Think of a real life garden, the formations of them. The trees, flowers, natural pools and leaves falling on different angles. The serenity and peace it provides, oh how I loved being there.
The 'lord' Mr. Gabriel stood near a tree, looking at me savoring the peace of the garden. He constantly kept a bright face, as if still in awe of my first victory.
I turned my gaze to him and casually asked.
"You still don't want to tell me how this place carry a completely different formation than the rest of hell?"
He smiled and answered. "It is the Lord's chamber."
I smirked. "You are the devil."
"If that's how you want to put it, well then suit yourself." He answered nonchalantly.
"Aha… Now you are finally admitting." I chuckled.
He sighed. "You never knew the devil has great taste too huh?"
"Well we were given a different picture on Earth.
We were told the devil is an ugly guy with large protruding horns, red eyes and skin, carrying a large fork."
Mr. Gabriel chuckled. "The picture they gave you was probably right. Because my friend… I have never seen the devil before."
I rolled my eyes and continued: "This is hell and you are the almighty here. You rule this place, which means you are the devil. You don't have to keep lying to me."
Mr. Gabriel Busted into a chilling laughter.
"You think I am the devil?! Wait till you meet the Ice King."
"Who is the Ice King?" I got curious.
"Your next opponent."
Immediately, the ground I stood began to shake tremendously. The entire garden began to loose it colors and started withering away, pixel by pixel.
My jaws dropped at the sight of the process. I raised my voice at Mr. Gabriel.
"What is happeneing?"
"Relax!" He said, "We are shifting our space."
Before I could get a grip of what he meant, I felt my soul freezing… literally. Only then did I realize that somehow, we shifted from the garden to an Ice mountain.
I stood there like a clueless errand boy. Looking at all directions, I began to examine the environment.
I felt no other presence but mine. "He teleported me here and ran away? What a coward" I cursed.
You dare speak curse words in my realm?" A powerful voice vibrated through the atmosphere.
My heart banged. "Are you the Ice King?" My voice cracked. Not only because of the powerful voice, but because the cold there was killing me.
"Sol IbnuRa… Vo'ak's conquerer." The voice vibrated.
I smirked. "You know me?"
"After defeating the arrogant Vo'ak? everyone does."
"In that case, by now you should have known that you are next to go after Vo'ak." I smiled.
"Why? Because of your speed and purple energy?"
"No!" I shouted, "Because I am no longer afraid."
He busted into a loud laughter, his voice vibrating through out the realm.
"Look, you can't even save yourself from the cold that is killing you right now. Is it me you want to fight?"
"I should be dead by now. Are you holding back the cold?"
"You guessed it right."
"Why?"
"Because a quick death can only ruin the fun. I want to see you suffer and die slowly."
"You are right. The cold is not stopping, I am freezing. Is that how you do your fight? You just hide away and let your ice do the dirty work for you?"
He chuckled. "I am the Ice King. I am not a figure, I am the entire Ice realm."
Just then a portal opened some distance away from where I was standing. Then Ice King continued:
"That portal leads to the garden of the lord Gabriel. Only there shall you find the warmth that can cure you of my Ice. Do whatever you can to go through that portal and then you could live."
That was when I realized that my fight with Ice King was not meant to be a physical one on one fight like the first one I had.
I tried to move a limb but in vain, for the cold had already penetrated me too much. The fight just started, but I was already at the brink of defeat.
At that point, only my head could move. It was clear that his intention was not to finish me at a go. He was holding back so that I would suffer, which would be pleasurable to him.
I had to think fast and out of the box. If it was a traditional combat, I would use my new found abilities. But this one is another level. How could one fight a living realm.
The portal was still open, waiting for me to go through it. And while I was still thinking of a way to break free form the ice freezing me up, Ice King thundered.
"The portal wasn't intended to stay open forever. Your time is limited puny boy."
I frowned. "Puny? This word again. They all use it for me as if I am nothing."
An anger began to rise in me, and from within, I felt my new achieved purple energy pulsating along side the anger.
I sighed, closed my eyes gently and began to focus on the energy. In few seconds, my body began to radiate with the purple energy, rapidly curing me of the cold and revitalizing me.
Without waiting another second, I started in a ground breaking speed, heading toward the portal.
While all my strength an energy was focused on getting to the portal, Ice King had a lot in mind for me.
The cold began to increase, becoming more excruciating. Even though my body still glowed with purple energy, the increased cold could penetrate.
While I was trying to deal with the situation, a mighty two-edged axe came out of nowhere, in a speed untraceable by the eyes.
Whoosh!
I speedily bowed my head to dodge the axe. "Hah that was close." I sighed in relief, but I wasn't given the chance to celebrate my little cool move.
My jaws dropped at the sight of the axe rushing down on me in a speed even greater than the first. I increased my speed to dodge the axe.
Whoosh… Boom!
The axe shattered the ground, sending me up into the air. The axe didn't stop there, it did a perfect U-turn and followed me up.
It came flying in a rotating style like a propella, whoosh! Whoosh…!
Up in the air, there was no way to escape or dodge. I was falling back down while the axe was coming all the way up. We were coming to collide with one another.
I had to act quick by concentrating my purple energy into my fist.
BOOM!
My fist collided with the axe, the shock wave of which travelled through the realm. I didn't know how it happened but I felt my back hit against the snowy ice ground.
I couldn't give myself the time to savour the pain, I got up as fast as I could. I headed toward the portal again, in a terrific speed.
I didn't know what happened to the axe, but as long as it wasn't there to hinder me from my goal again, I didn't care.
When I saw that I was getting closer to the Ice, I increased my speed to the speed of sound. I didn't want to die of cold. I just needed to get out of the Ice realm, because even my purple energy could not protect me any longer. Just then I heard a vibrating voice roared through the realm, Grrrr!
"What the heck is that?" I cried out loud.
Suddenly, a huge white hairy monster landed in front of me. BOOM!!!
The impact of its landing send shock-waves, shattering anything that stood on it way. The shock-waves send me flying in the air, pushing me backward, more distance away from the portal. If not for the purple energy protecting me, I would have been shattered too.
The monster didn't make another move, it stood blocking the portal. It goal was obviously one, to stop me from getting to the portal by all means.
I stood up as fast as I could and zoomed off again. I didn't dare to give up on that battle. I had to do all I could to save myself from Ice King and his merciless weapons.
When I fought Vo'ak, I gained the power to move extraordinarily fast, making the moves look like teleportation. In here, I tried but didn't work because of the cold.
A crazy idea suddenly came to me. Since the problem was the cold, I could generate some heat by running faster without holding back. That could be the only way I would pass through the monstrous Yeti.
I did as I planned. I ran faster, generating more heat and then focused my purple energy into my whole body… Whoosh! The Yeti's huge hand missed me, I moved extraordinarily fast that I vanished.
Before the Yeti could do anything again, I already ran through the portal. I heard it roar at the top of it voice but to no avail, the portal closed.
