Escape

Rope was leading Sue in the direction of the Cerulean City Police Station.

"P-Professor Rope!"

Officer Jenny rushed in on her motorcycle and shouted as she looked at Rope from afar.

Rope immediately hung up his call with Blue when he saw this, and then looked at Officer Jenny with a puzzled expression.

Officer Jenny rode fast, and while approaching Rope, did a handsome flip before coming to a steady stop a meter in front of Rope.

The technique was skillful, as to how it was practiced... that was a matter of opinion...

But of course Rope didn't care about that little thing right now.

He looked at Officer Jenny's eager demeanor, a calm and collected look on his face.

"Don't panic Officer Jenny, take your time about what's going on, there's nothing that can't be fixed."

Rope said with genuine comfort.

Officer Jenny was slightly more conciliatory at the sight. It wasn't that she was actually tired. Just a little flustered.

"Professor Rope, the guardhouse at our police station was raided. We didn't stop the other party, and the criminal you sent over was rescued."

Rope's two eyebrows immediately twisted together.

He said with dissatisfaction, "Last time Rai and Denki were able to be rescued by someone, and this time Ice was rescued by someone, I'm very skeptical of your Kanto Regional Police Department's ability to do its job."

Sue on one side was also very dissatisfied, this was a major dereliction of duty. As long as Rope gave Cerulean City Police Department a mark, the Officer Jenny in front of her could just retire to the Officer Jenny family.

But what happened to Rope being that mean? That being said...it really wasn't the fault of the other Officer Jenny, either.

"But I understand that you're facing such strong men is a shortcoming of your abilities. It can't be avoided."

Rope also said helplessly.

It was better not to say this, but after saying it, Officer Jenny's face turned even redder.

It was indeed true, but it was also quite one-sided. The strongest person in a city was the Gym Leader, and the police department generally speaking wouldn't take in powerful trainer criminals who still had the ability to fight back.

And generally speaking... no one comes to the rescue!

Because if you rob someone from the police station, you're just going to slap League in the face.

And the Officer Jenny's really aren't technically weak, most of them are mid-level trainers, and then the Officer Jenny's in the big cities tend to be high-level trainers. Elite Four level Jenny's don't usually take on police department duties though. There's a balance factor involved.

Jenny and Joy being the two biggest families in the League, if it wasn't for this situation of only being able to have girls and all looking the same, and the basic fact that their trainers are talented but limited. They would have ruled the entire League long ago...

It wasn't that Rope hadn't thought about looking into what made Joy and Jenny unique, no, I should say, there wasn't a trainer out there who didn't want to look into that. But no one dared...

These two families really dared to teach someone how to be a man. Don't think that there are only women in these two families... there are tons of trainers and researchers in this world who want to join Joy and Jenny's families!

If twins are a man's dream, then Joy and Jenny, that's a man's paradise!

Ahem. Far out...

"I'm to blame for this though, I knew there was a chance the other team would come for a jailbreak, but I still delayed too long on the Gym challenge. I'll report this to the League, and I'll take full responsibility for it."

Rope smiled gently, he wasn't a fool to offend the Officer Jenny family over such a trivial matter...

But the Officer Jenny in front of him didn't think so. She looked at Rope's gentle smile like the sunrise, listening to Rope's warm words, the bottom of her eyes vaguely had tears flashing. You know, if Rope took the responsibility, don't look at the person he caught, but the person ran away, he still have to be punished.

And it wasn't supposed to be Rope's job to watch over the guards.

"Thank you, Professor Rope!"

Officer Jenny, bowed violently, bending her waist to ninety degrees, and Rope looked at the splash of whiteness reflected in his eyes, and immediately turned his head away from it...

Officer Jenny was sincere! But... Rope didn't want to get involved with them in that regard... or rather, very few trainers with a bright future that was visible to the naked eye would choose to get involved with the two major families.

It wasn't easy to be a flunky, and not everyone was named Ning Yi...

Sue saw this scene, and her favorable opinion of Rope immediately went up a notch.

[A righteous man ah! No, no, no, now we have to hurry up and arrange for someone to chase the fugitive!]

Sue shook her head for a split second, then thought.

"Professor! We need to hurry and arrange for someone to chase the fugitive!"

Sue hurriedly reminded.

As if Rope had just come back to his senses, he hurriedly said, "Yes, yes, Officer Jenny, this is not the time to discuss who took the blame, we need to hurry and go find the people first, or at least find out which way they fled!"

Officer Jenny straightened up and said with a serious face, "I've already arranged for someone to go after them, don't worry, I'll immediately go back and arrange for a pursuit mission now!"

After saying that, he saluted towards Rope, and then walked towards his motorcycle with his two long white legs, and then dashingly straddled it.

"Wait!" Rope opened his mouth to stop, welcoming Officer Jenny and Sue's puzzled looks, Rope calmly said, "Sue, you go back with Officer Jenny, I'll talk to Lance and the others over here to explain the situation, and ask him to arrange for the neighboring police forces to cooperate with your action, you go over there to help me understand the situation, and organize the basic information of the prison hijackers first."

Sue smiled and thought it made sense, so she immediately nodded and followed Officer Jenny, then got on Officer Jenny's motorcycle.

Putting on the helmet handed over by Officer Jenny, she glanced worriedly at Rope.

Rope, meanwhile, had already pulled up the phone book on his Rotom Pokédex, and then waved a hand at her with a smile.

She nodded back at Rope before letting Officer Jenny start the car and 'chug' away.

Rope watched them move away until they were out of sight.

He immediately said, "Rotom, pull up Ice's location."

A map quickly appeared on Rotom Pokédex's screen. On the map, there was a blinking red dot that was rushing in the direction of Court Town.

"Boss, isn't it a little bad for us to lie to Officer Jenny and Ms. Sue like this...Rotom."

Rope looked at the dots on the map and said slowly, "Cerulean City's Officer Jenny, or most of the Officers Jenny won't be of much help to us in this situation, and Sue even less so, telling them the truth has the possibility of exposing the plan, and it also has the danger of putting them in danger possible."

"There are some things I can just take on myself. Don't need anyone else to get into danger with me."
