Ice and Vision (2)

A long time passed, and just when it seemed like the air was going to freeze solid making it impossible to breathe, Ice spoke up.

"I can do these things myself if I have to. You just have to keep my secret."

Vision was about to snort again. But Ice interrupted her with a wave of his hand, signaling for her to hear himself out.

"Don't you say anything about the organization being kind to you and I. For one thing, at that time, we were in a moment of crisis but not without a way to get out of it, and on top of that, for so many years, we've given quite a bit of effort to the organization. No matter what kind of price the organization paid in order to help us we have already paid it back."

Ice said with a cold look one by one.

Although Vision was unconvinced, he couldn't find any points to refute. Because what Ice said was true...

Over the years, the two sisters had done a lot of dirty work for the organization. The organization naturally used them to their fullest potential, soliciting enemies, assassinating, seducing...

But neither of them, nor most of the members of the organization they had met, knew the true purpose of the organization. All they knew was the pie Arceus had painted for them.

If it weren't for the high and timely paychecks, the group would have dispersed long ago.

In that case, Servants of God was really a standard grassroots organization...

There's absolutely nothing competitive about it, no core philosophy to maintain. The loyalty of the members of such an organization is not guaranteed at all.

It wasn't at all like the previous villainous organizations in various regions, which were truly organizations with ideals, goals, and action.

Unfortunately, however, because of the League's vigorous crackdown, and the current situation where the Legendary Pokémon of this parallel world have strengthened their power significantly. Not many of these villainous organizations with the core goal of capturing Legendary Pokémon have succeeded.

Team Rocket supposedly did build Mewtwo, but it didn't take long for Team Rocket to start down the path of whitewashing, like something scared them...

And Kyogre and Groudon, who Team Aqua and Team Magma did call out previously, but it didn't take long for Rayquaza to beat whichever two idiots back. Steven then took Team Aqua and Team Magma by the scruff of the neck with a bunch of Hoenn regiontrainers.

As for the Sinnoh region, let's just say the twists and turns were bizarre. The cardless 'little Duraludon' and 'little Dracovish' were indeed controlled by Cyrus. Unfortunately, the 'little Dragapult' of this world seemed to be on good terms with them and immediately came to the rescue. Given the higher-than-normal world's strength, coupled with the three Legendary Pokémon working in unison, even Cyrus could only fail and chose to lose under the bombardment of the 'Spacial Rend' and 'Roar of Time' moves.

He may or may not be dead, people can't say.

As for Unova and Kalos...

Team Flare and Team Plasma didn't even make a splash.

Team Plasma supposedly got fucked over by Kyurem, and Team Flare got all fucked over by Yveltal.

That said, if the Kalos region guys don't get their shit together, I think the xyz gods are going to come out and save the environment and reboot the region.

That's the whole point of the mission Arceus set Rope on.

Humans were bound to have some behaviors that angered the gods. If there's no channel of communication, then everyone will just have to fight to the death.

But if there was someone who could talk to Legendary Pokémon and humans above all as equals, then everyone would have the basic to sit down and negotiate.

Far from it, now Vision is still torn.

On one side is her own service for many years, more or less a bit of love in the organization.

On the other side was the bright path that his sister had found.

In theory, for Vision, who was seeking a normal life under the sun, there shouldn't be any hesitation.

But... what if Rope really made some excessive demands? After so many years in this world, Vision was well aware of just how attractive her and her sister's beauty was to men alone. And because she and her sister are twins, how much of a temptation it is to men their usual lives are enough to give the answer.

And was that the price they had to pay for the right to live in the sun?

What the sisters hadn't lost in all the years they had walked in the darkness, were they going to lose in their quest for the light?

Her mind was a mess with no answers, but she knew that there was no way she could enjoy her sister's sacrifice with a clear conscience if she was going to make a deal.

As for why she didn't defect to someone else. How could the two sisters, who were still extremely uneasy with Rope, whom they had met once, feel comfortable going to other League officials who were inherently tinged with ill will?

The two of them were criminals in the true sense of the word, and the daughters of mass murderers...

How could those self-proclaimed righteous trainers in League give them a chance? In some people's eyes, it's already an honor for them to work for the League. What more could they ask for?

People who lived under League's rule didn't feel it deeply, but people like them, who lived in the darkness, were well aware of League's condescension.

League was nice, but nothing was perfect.

"Sister, do you, really trust that Rope guy?"

Vision asked hesitantly, her eyes complicated as she looked into Ice's eyes.

Ice smiled weakly at her, not knowing what to say. Could it really be easy to trust someone you've only met once or twice?

Very few people would. Someone who had seen the darkness of humanity even less so.

But Ice thought she could take a gamble.

She'd really had enough of this life of scrounging in the dark.

Year after year, unable to trust anyone but her sister.

A lot of heartache that could only be buried in her own heart. She wasn't a strong woman, she just wanted to live a peaceful life...

But was it that easy to clear her name? Team Rocket had spent so much time and effort, and it was only in the last few years that they had cleared themselves as a civilian organization. As for the four hunters...they didn't do anything bad...

But Ice and Vision, they've really done something wrong...

After a long time, Ice looked at his sister and slowly spoke, "I trust him, he has the ability and will honor his reputation. As long as we can afford the conditions. He will help us!"

Ice's tone was incomparably certain, like she really believed so strongly.

Vision could see that her sister was unsure...

But she was willing to accompany her sister in her gamble. So she nodded...

"Uh, you two are done discussing right? Can I come out now?"

A clear male voice came out from the depths of the woods, its tone filled with embarrassment...

  2. refers to Giratina
