Rope’s Appearance

Ice and Vision were both startled when they heard this male voice that suddenly reached their ears, then immediately took up defensive positions as two Froslass and a Misdreavus were released from the Pokéball.

Of course, Ice had heard that it was Rope's voice, but she didn't know why Rope was here. So she instinctively went on guard.

As for Vision, she had long ago sent her other Misdreavus out to scout around and retreat from the enemy. Was Rope able to appear here, did he hide from detection or...

Rope approached slowly from deeper into the woods, his hands in his pants pockets and not much else. Seeing Rope's behavior, both Ice and Vision let their guard down a little.

But that relaxation soon vanished. Behind Rope, about half a body length away, a brown lion-like Pokémon was following Rope with an unconscious Misdreavus in his mouth.

It seems that the reason for how Rope appeared here without a sound has come to a conclusion.

With the guards taken out, naturally there was nothing for the alarm to be raised.

Ice looked at the Pokémon that had been in the legends, Entei, a Pokémon she hadn't seen before... she had still underestimated Rope's strength too much.

Rope probably didn't even need the two tools they had.

Thinking so, Ice touched her right index finger with the thumb of her own right hand. Vision saw Ice's little gesture and nodded.

It was a small gesture between the sisters, and only they themselves could understand what it meant. This was thanks to the strange tacit understanding between the twins.

Just now Ice meant that if she saw the situation was bad, she would break the back and Vision would escape first.

Vision didn't refuse, nor did she say anything stupid like "dying together". Only when the accomplices are still wandering around, the arrested person has the bargaining chips to negotiate with the other side. In most cases, the 'dying together' sentiment would only result in a clean sweep, or simply two lives...

Rope saw their wariness and smiled, "Don't be nervous, I'm already harboring good intentions by not outright raiding you guys aren't I?"

Rope's words could only be used to fool a child...

At least that's what the two sisters in front of them thought. That's why their vigilance didn't relax in the slightest.

Rope couldn't help but scratch his head at the situation... gaining the trust of his opponents... this was something he had never done before...

Entei grunted as he looked at the distressed Rope, then gently placed the Misdreavus in his own mouth onto the ground before walking over to Rope's side under the wary and surprised gazes of Ice and Vision, then poked at his Pokéball, transformed it into a wisp of red light, and burrowed back in.

It's worth noting that Rope is a no-brainer; the balls he gives his Pokémon are Luxury Balls. nothing else is intended, the main point is that it's extremely comfortable to live in. According to Charmeleon and Entei, it's like a mansion inside, and Growlithe says he wishes he could live in a different ball because he's about to finish tearing down the furniture and such in this one...

Maybe Growlithe is a guy who doesn't deserve to live in a Pokéball... as for why it's not a Master Ball.

The production is too low, and that thing is the one that really does the damage.

According to Rope's observations, Master Ball is able to perfectly subdue all Pokémon except for First Class Gods and some Mythical Pokémon, and doesn't even need to be battled to gain recognition...

can be considered evil by mainstream trainers.

Master Ball is capable of withstanding the energy of a First Class God. But only if the First Class God doesn't make a fuss... and if it does, it's bound to blow up.

So it's also true that humanity lacks the items or the combat power to limit First Class Gods. Previously, it might have been very confident in human development and technological advancement. Even Professor Rowan, Professor Juniper, Professor Sycamore, and so on, arguably all of the Professor who have never seen a First Class God, believe that a First Class God can be trapped by a Master Ball. Which wouldn't be mind-blowingly easy, but would still allow for a trap lock.

That said, when the big event first started, Lance and the gang came up with such a scenario, and then it was rejected outright by Rope, who pulled out a video of himself taking the Master Ball to Mew and having it blown up by Mew for them to see before they gave up on such an idea.

Blaine and Red did trap Mewtwo with the Master Ball once... but then Mewtwo was really just a kid. Mewtwo hadn't grown up yet, and by the time he really mastered his powers, the Master Ball was just a toy.

Mewtwo did leave later though. Nothing over the top, except that not long after that, Team Rocket started to wash their hands of it.

And after this big event, the arrogance of mankind was turned on its head by the strength of the Legendary Pokémon. One champion, six Pokémon swarmed out in a wheel-to-wheel battle. Except for Red and Cynthia, who were able to briefly squash it. Everyone else got their asses kicked.

This is still the result of the Legendary Pokémon not being completely unconscious like in the theatrical version, and still retaining some of their consciousness. It's hard to imagine what kind of destruction these guys would have caused if Hoopa's Evil Thoughts hadn't gone for sheer numbers, but rather for control...

But at this time there is no need to think so much, after all, the past is gone, the big event has in more regret, it is also a big thing that changed the relationship between humans and Legendary Pokémon.

That being said, it seems like there is still room for one more water paper...

The two sisters, Ice and Vision, looked at Rope, who was lost in thought, and didn't know what to do for a moment. To say that one's opponent was lost in thought seemed rather disrespectful. But would anyone really wander off in front of their opponent?

Did this mean that Rope really didn't mean any harm, and really came with good intentions towards them?

The two sisters glanced at each other, [I can't say, let's wait and see].

As for whether or not there were people who would wander off in front of an enemy... the conclusion was that there were.

Is there anyone who would go off in front of an enemy that can pose a threat to them, the answer is, no.

The one moment when Rope transformed into flames, Ice has seen it before, but Ice really doesn't think that Rope can be a threat to them without Pokémon by his side.

That's inertia, actually. Because the vast majority of humans can't go head-to-head with Pokémon. So they thought Rope couldn't either.

At first Entei didn't think Rope could either. Then he thought it would work.

Lessons in Blood and Tears.

The reason why Rope dared to go off in front of them. It's because they really aren't much of a threat. Even in a surprise attack, Rope could dodge them.
